Neither side of road inspired me!!nickywood119/11/2018
Difficult to choose where to start climbing this hill as it's on a suburban street. Decided to follow the logger who went from the railway station. pleasant little town; coffee afterwards.IanHHill30/09/2018
After the nearby laying to rest of my last surviving uncle. Sorry about the negative comments here. A few drive-ups here and there add to the fun of it and contrast nicely with long and trackless bogs and heath.Topographer5706/08/2018
With elizyanne. Did both trig and road to try and create a bit of excitement over this bag. didnt work.GmacT09/07/2018
In a lady's drive. She came out and was quite interested.clivevilla17/04/2018

I sometimes question the sanity of Marilyn baggers.Gill06/07/2017
With K. I am ashamed that we drove all this way just to bag this.Ashley30/04/2017
Yup....really drove and parked up, stretched legs to the trig point. 1st of 8N.Morters13/04/2017
Walked up from the station. One nice section through Crowborough country park, otherwise unremarkableMark Jackson25/02/2017
Parked on summit (almost) on roadside outside Warren Oak. Looked higher on opposite side of road next to gas utility street furniture, but from there high point looked to be in front garden of Warren Oak. Managed to make a walk of it by turning left on A26 and visiting bonus bag of Crowborough (Old GR) and bigger bonus trig pillar.SteveSmith18/12/2016
Almost 100% pointless.twg2703/10/2016
Sixth and final Marilyn of the day. Whilst Crowborough is pleasant enough, the drive-by nature of this one makes it one to tick off rather than particularly enjoy.Cas-gwent04/04/2016
Parked at Golf Club and activated for SOTA from within a nearby thicket of trees. Once in a lifetime visit!M0YDH20/03/2016
Wandered around the vicinity of Deep Dene on Warren Road to bag this eneventful hill after visiting Scotney Castle.Peterb14/02/2016

And so, after a splendid day on the South Downs walking Ditchling Beacon, Cliffe Hill, Firle Beacon and Wilmington Hill, it comes down to this .....SteveG09/12/2015
4th visit to this nuisance. Took two visits to get to the former summit at the trig before the summit moved. 1st visit thwarted due to police doing a speed trap watching me, so deterred from climbing into compound, and then returned another time to claim the trig before returning for a 3rd time in 1999 for the new Warren Gardens summit and now 16 years later driving past had another nosey around. Summit cul-de-sac at house named appropriately Folly's End.Chris Pearson07/12/2015
Another expertly planned and expertly executed step out of the carcatman12/11/2015

Visit and weep. Highest point is in someones garden. Found the trig point hidden away behind a hedge and thought back to the time when the surveyors would have taken their sightings of all the surrounding trig points but today the longest view is 10m. However it stands as a reminder to what has been happening to the country side for a long time - it's a limited resouce and it continues to get built on. I expect the owners of the nearby houses sit behind their high hedged houses, try to shut out the noise of the traffic and jet planes and watch escape to the country, unaware that this place was once the country side.mindlessflogger21/08/2014
My brother wanted to bag this one so he drove there after our visit to Downe House. We bagged it, drove a few more miles, and went for a proper walk in Ashdown Forest- good rambling country. No sensible walkers would think that the highest point of this area is a this miserable spot by the A26 and in this case the saying 'ignorance is bliss' rings true.pwheeler03/05/2014

Parked in Warren Road, about 15m from the high point Got out of the car and mooched around the area opposite Deep Dene. Then had a short walk along Beacon Road to the trig point and reservoir. (Solo)gerrybowes12/02/2014
No comment!AndrewFinnimore23/11/2013

Oh dear, what a joke. Should have travelled by bike but instead, just stepped out of a car.Eddie03/04/2012
Hardly worth the drive. Drizzle, mild, calm, nice houses.iangalbraith08/11/2011
Another indeterminate one. Went to official summit but another spot about 30m away seemed as good a bet as any, outside 'Warren Gate', near bend in road.Aye Jimmy12/12/2010
Went to nearest point on street to summit recorded in database. It was just inside a garden. Also visited comms tower where trig point could be seen inside fence.dbb03/08/2010
I came, I drove there - there is many things but not a mountain top!!gigglejon15/12/2009
