Hazy views, after 10 days of anticyclone which I missed! This had been an 'orphan' peak for a while so it was good to do it, though barely running at all. Mild, calm, some sunshine, patches of thawing snow.NorfolkPT2128/03/2022
Brilliant day out with Brian Smith, amazing views with a cloud inversion thrown in!Kevthecat21/12/2021

From Fersit. Stob Coire Sgriodain main and south top, Chno Dearg. Beautiful sunny, clear day. Pathless. boggy and difficult.Lazylizzie01/08/2021
With Alex McBride from Fersit we climbed Stob Coire Sgriodain (978m) & Chno Dearg (1046m) Munro numbers 148 & 149 respectively for me, while repeats for Alex. We included the Munro Tops of Stob Coire Sgriodain South Top (958m) and Meal Garbh (976m). There was snow patches on Chno Dearg and the descent from here through the boulder field, was made unpleasant with the wet snow in between the rocks, no views due to cloud and quite cold, 7:12hrs all in.chillyman814/11/2020
another classic top-bagging day - 2 munros for 1 top. Amazing weather - t-shirt all day in November - certainly less snow than the last outing on these hillsScmccabe 07/11/2020

Snow from about 300m, becoming deeper and with icy patches, clear views from the summit of Stob Coire Sgriodain with cloud swirling at times. As we crossed to Chno Dearg the cloud closed in completely. Powder snow for the long gradual descent north, views across the valley. Great day. John M and Gillian, CSSC.Cumbrianexile25/02/2020

Started at Fersit and up the grassy slopes to Chno Dearg. Across to Stob Coire Sgriodain. Both tops were in the clouds all day so not that much to see. Steep ascent down back at first and then less so to Fersit.tsharp30/04/2019

Train to Corrour. Walked back to Tulloch over Beinn na Lap and Chno Dearg. Low cloud, drizzly rain, strong westerly winds. Snow above 650m. NE descent off Chno Dearg iced up - crampons neededwychwood30/12/2014
Lovely weather. Staying at Tulloch Bunkhouse. Got train to Corrour in the morning and walked back. Managed to cock up a bit and visit Meall Garbh twice.banksey21/11/2014
Other than the long walk in from Loch Ossian SYHA this did not seem much like a munro. Its nice to be back on a hillside with lots of space no ridges, I last walked in Torridon. Ravens for company on this hill they even joined me for lunch. A walk through from Loch Ossian youth hostel taking in 2 munros to Tulloch Station. Train back to Corrour. Saw evidence of Ptarmigan but did not see any birds. Only wildlife I saw 2 x hairy ubit (caterpillar) 2 x ravens pecked pecking at the ground near where I was having lunchLizzieG14/10/2014
