Parked NO 353714. Bike to NO 261 087. Track up thru' forest. Continues to NO 300762. Easy walking over Cathelle Houses, Boustie Ley, Benty Roads (What??), The Snub, Green Hill, Craigs of Loch Wharral, Ben Tirran. SSW to mapped path. Missed turn at first FB (NO 358724). Realized at marked ford, where W thru' felled forest, getting wet feet over burn, picking up path again along forest edge back to car. Good walk but no views due to clagcarole engel19/10/2022

Up from Adielinn. On to Muckle Cairn.Adrian09/08/2022
Solo from Milton of Clova car park. Anti-clockwise loop so I could get the road section done as a long walk-in rather than a long walk back out. Good paths/tracks pretty much up to the summit, but was in the clag above 600m so no real views. Peat bog between The Goet and Green Hill but not too bad, and the descent back down from Green Hill was via good paths by Loch Brandy down to the hotel. Total time 3h 40min.mproudfoot06/08/2022

With David Alexander. Parked at NO 352715 (9:05) and walked up the WNW side of the plantation to join the track after about 1 km. This track now leads all the way to the bothy at the S end of Loch Wharral; the path up the hill starts at the prominent cairn near to the road. We took a branch rightwards up to the cairn at the SW end of the plateau and thence to the summit (11:10). Descended westwards around the rim of the corrie NW of the loch and down to the bothy for the return along the track. Finished 13:30. Fine day with good views of Glen Clova, Lochnagar etc.dbb14/05/2022

From Adielinn Plantation. Up and on the good paths and track to Bothy at Loch Wharral which was locked because of misuse. Followed faint track to summit of Ben Tirran and watching several mountain hares, then on to Craigs of Loch Wharral and Green Hill. Descend Shanks of Catstae and Rough Craig to start. Cold and sleety with moderate wind.Frank29/03/2022
