Revisit. From Inverie bunkhouse, an extended round of Gleann Meadail over 15 summits. 30km, 2100m ascent, 12hrs15. 10/15 | PGCE | 28/03/2024 |
Solo from bunkhouse, Glen Meadail, traverse main ridge, decent via Loch Bhraomisaig and back around Kilchoan to the bunkhouse. Pub still not open and 'The Lookout' closed due to illness. | John Lee | 28/06/2023 |
From the bunkhouse, up to Mam Meadail, along the ridge over the 610m point, Meall Bhasiter, Beinn Bhuidhe and up to 787m Simm Sgurr Coire nan Gobhair. Off steeply down ridge North towards Sgurr nam Feadan, then followed easy grassy slopes down the Allt Coire nan Gobhar to Loch Bhraomisaig and the damp. Then down the mast track (not as nice a descent as envisaged) and back around Kilchoan to the bunkhouse. 13.8 miles, 3780ft climbing. | JulieB | 02/05/2023 |
From Sgurr an t-Sagairt. | KeithByTheC | 02/05/2023 |
Long circuit from Inverie: up to Mam Meadail, then over Meall Bhasiter and all the peaks on the ridge. Superb views, but hard work - very much the Rough Bounds here. Very steep descent to the west end of Loch Bhraomisaog, then via the curving burn to descend to the west of Kilchoan.21km 6h 30 | Rockdoctor | 03/04/2023 |
From Inverie with D, rainy on top, old forge after. | Rodge | 08/10/2022 |
Solo. Wet & WINDY! | garbo1103 | 19/06/2022 |
From Inverie via Gleann Meadail. From the bealach at Mam Beadail with Dangerous Dave, John Rogerson and Robin Corlett. A long day of 11 hours after 7 tops and descending from Loch Bhraomisaig on the steep hydro road. Great views from this summit. 4th top for the day. | bolton | 15/05/2022 |
From Inverie to Mam Meadail along good path all the way. Up onto the ridge over Meall Bhasister N.Top (610m), Meall Bhasiter (718m) & Sgurr an t-Sagairt (802m). With Phil, Robin & John. | Dangerous Dave | 15/05/2022 |
After a log day on the Knoydart munros the previous day, felt surprisingly fresh despite little sleep in my tent on the Long Beach campsite. John and decided to hit up the Beinn Bhuidhe early, doing a clockwise route to end up back at the campsite to pack up and head back along for our booked ferry back to Mallaig. Great walk-in through Glen Meadail, once up on the ridge - a superb walk with superb views in all directions. The descent was less fun, with a steep drop down to the twin lochs, and then down to Kilchoan, but we got back early enough (total time 5h 58min) to relax in the sun beside our tents, before heading back and catching an earlier ferry - result! | mproudfoot | 08/05/2022 |

From Inverie with Luinne Bheinn and Meall Buidhe | Geoff Briggs | 31/05/2017 |
Overnight at Arisaig and early morning ferry to Inverie. Walked to Mam Meadhail and then back along the ridge to the summit. Chose a poor line of descent at the western edge of the ridge by a hydro scheme pipeline: not recommended. Warm and very hot. Stunning views in all directions. | benalder284 | 25/05/2017 |
Meall Bhasiter, Beinn Bhuidhe, Sgurr Coire nan Gabhar, A'Chruach. Ferry from Mallaig to Inverie, walk to Mam Meadail (good views to Sgurr na Ciche) and then along fine ridge. From Sgurr Coire nan Gabhar descended S to follow curving ridge eventually heading W, past some old workings, then NW to A'Chruach (two knolls, the NW one appearing higher). Camped overnight just below summit (fine spot overlooking Inverie) before descending NE to the village. | RobertP | 21/05/2017 |
Amazing day. Incredible views and stunning weather. Could even see Berneray (South) in the Outer Hebrides. Up from Mam Seadail and west along ridge back to Inverie. | Campbell Singer | 23/10/2016 |

part of a great Knoydart trip. Climbed up in cloud, saw glockenspectres, descended in sun. | oatcake | 14/09/2015 |
With M, traversed whole ridge. Poured with rain most of the way. One of the toughest Corbetts, got back to Inverie ~9pm. Lost compass on way up. | douglas_easton | 17/05/2015 |
The full ridge including the Corbett top and the Graham top from Inverie. Forecast strong winds did not materialise and it was a pretty good day though snow was in poor condition which made for hard going in places. Tricky descent on the poor snow towards the east end of the ridge | dickscroop | 29/04/2015 |

Short, sharp ascent from Torr Cruinn. Lucky to find the driest weather of a horribly unsettled weekend on the shores of Loch Nevis. Fortunately good company made up for the miserable weather | gman | 29/06/2008 |

Perfect weather for my last Corbett!* From Inverie up Gleann Meadail, then to Mam Uchd. Blunder (in retrospect), missed Meall Bhasiter! Ridge to broken vanessa trig. Superb views of remote hills. W ridge and minor summits on way down to Loch Bhraomisaig. Long walk back to Kinloch Hourn next day. *Well it was until 2012 when they replaced Hill 716 with Hill 713, a bit further along the ridge and 1' higher! | Aye Jimmy | 07/06/2007 |

Climbed during a 3 day stay in Inverie with Martin66 & JC. Hot, sweaty & airless day. Crossed the bridge over the Inverie River at 798988 & took to the N slopes of Sgurr nam Feadan, then round Coire nan Gobhar onto Sgurr Coire nan Gobhar & along to the summit. Continued E along the ridge to Mam Uchd & then dropped N to join the path back to Inverie. Not bad going underfoot considering it is Knoydart! | NotReallyABagger | 13/05/2001 |
Up through the crags from the glen - not so sensible with the cornices that needed punching through. | Eddie | 11/01/2001 |
from Sagairt. Faint path materialised and a stroll over and up to top at 14.10. to Ghuirm | arranc | 30/06/2000 |
