With Struie. Parked out of the way down near the houses by Bhlaraidh. Use the hydro track to ascend to a gate in the deer fence at 338191. Follow a feint ATV track up onto the ridge and go over the top of Carn na Caorach. Descend to find a stile over the deer fence at approx 319189. Ascend straighforward ridge to Carn Mhic an Toisich. Return round the outside of the deer fenced enclosure in the general direction of Loch Liath to regain the main hydro track back to start. | DampandDusty | 18/02/2024 |
As per SMC guide except started from lay-by 300m W of entrance to Wind Farm. Tracks to near Lochan Liath, then walked via Carn na Caorach. Afterwards, back to track and on to Meall a' Chrathaich via Wind Farm roads. Returned by route of ascent. | benalder284 | 07/01/2024 |
Parked opposite 'phone box at Torgyle Bridge. Up track and soon R to follow pylon access track to c. NH 291177, then NE over Meall Ruigh Uisdein, An Suidhe and along humpy ridge to summit. Mossy cairn. Low cloud so views of various wind farms limited. Return same way. | MichaelF | 12/10/2023 |
From Carn na Caorach. The col between the two is rather haggy and wet and the ladder stile over the deer fence is to the north east of the col. Descended following the fence round the north of Carn na Caorach, involving two very wet sections for which the fence is a help. Once back on the main track plain sailing back to Bhlaraidh. | Owen B | 24/08/2023 |

Excellent track from Plodda Falls car park | LesH | 24/06/2022 |
Staying at Tomich with NUFWAS, but just me today. From Tomich, lovely route up through the trees, and back via Plodda Falls. | Grinner | 02/06/2022 |
Parked at the entrance to the pylon track, by the phone box N of Torgyle Bridge. Quick, easy walk up the track; you'd have to like steep hill climbs if you bike it. From high point of track NE up the hill. Ground restoration after building the Beauly-Denny power line as much a joke as elsewhere. Shaggy bogs and hags at first, best skirted over flat ground to the N of Meall Ruigh Uisdein, then get on the high ground and follow the ups and downs where the going is easy except in the dips, path near top. This route avoids the bloody awful wind farm, though it's prominent in the summit view. | Gill | 20/05/2022 |
Circuit from Hilton. 6/9 | PGCE | 05/05/2022 |
Biked in on new wind farm track until it merged with the original track and on up to Loch Liath. Crosed dery ford and found god place for tent and left bike. Went west then over Carn na Caorach, Carn Mhic an Toisich and Carn nan Earb without difficulty until... got back to the dry ford which was now a raging torrent and impassable with my bike and tent on far side. Fortunately there is a short section immediately below the dam where it is channelled through a pipe so I managed to get back. The sluices had been opened but fortunately later ibn the evening they were closed again.

Trees being planted on Carn na Caorach. Gate at approx. 337193. Another gate at 31635/18573 and a stile at 31856/18896 | duchally | 15/11/2021 |
Parked just south of the phone box in the entrance to the power line track. Biked to high point of the track (very steep in places), cut up over An Suidhe to summit. Extensive views, although grey to the west. | iangalbraith | 18/07/2021 |
As per SMC guide - bike from Bharaidh to Lochan Liath, then walked via Carn na Caorach. Afterwards, back to bike and on to Meall a' Chrathaich via Wind Farm roads. | IanHHill | 10/07/2021 |

Joined track to Loch Liath then climb E ridge of Carn na Caorach, continue to Carn Mhic an Toisich and finally Carn nan Earb. Descent E to reach track heading SE and joining ascent route. | RobertP | 29/05/2021 |
9 of 11: From Creag an Fhir-eoin. Snow showers on the way up but a sunny spell on arrival. Good views With Karen. | ChrisR | 28/04/2021 |
Parked by the telephone box and walked off up the new road for the pylons, they are big pylons. Near the top turn right and headed across to the summit. Has I arrived at the summit I disturbed a golden eagle having taken off, it sore around for a while. Great day out with good views to the west and north. | Nozzer | 24/04/2021 |
Parked at Dundreggan (trees for life) reserve, took hill path then direct across moor, with Ellie. Better route than wind farm road. | BLACKHILL | 24/09/2020 |
Bagging this peak from the South (A87) is made considerably easier with the new track starting opposite the phone box at NH308133. Very cyclable provided you have good brakes! | BaggerGutt | 10/09/2020 |

From the south at Blaraidh. Much windfarm work ongoing. Old track still usable for most of the way. Cycles useful. Pretty boggy off the track. | jenx | 12/08/2016 |
Cycled up w Jenx. After Chrathaich repositioned bikes at loch liath and then another wet plodge across the moor to the spur with another graham top. Mass devastation behing wrought on the southern flanks of Chrathaich, appalling site for 32 more turbines. The view West hardly better with the large Beauly-Denny pylons marching through. A once fine area now despoiled for good sadly. Back to tge bikes a fast descent down to the van. 6 hr round trip. | nordicstar | 12/08/2016 |
From Hilton. New track follows close to the line of pylons. | hils | 31/07/2016 |
Cycled from Biaraidh. Took the long east ridge from track. Superb vantage point. | Campbell Singer | 01/05/2016 |
Parked at Hilton Lodge and took the right of way to Glen Morriston, this was pleasant through the woodland and then it joins the new super pylon track. This was followed for about 5 Kms and then I just plowtered up through at times thigh deep snow to the summit.
Rewarded with superb views of the high peaks of Glen Affric. | Peterb | 27/12/2015 |

Date uncertain. Photos may yield a date. Mountain biked in. Think it was probably the day after the XXL Kinlocheil Bunkhouse weekend (17-19th August 2012), so probably the 21st. | tallscottishguy | 21/08/2012 |
