Second visit, on a full traverse this time. Glorious views on a fine morningColin Crawford22/06/2023
With Jon, John and dogs (Neo and Alfie). From Ben Alligin car park, followed path beside Abhainn Coire Mhic Nobuil to just past Lochan a' Chaorainn then proceeded up steep gully to bealach between Carn na Feola and The Castle. Scrambled over the castle (Jon took dogs along bypass) then up to corbett summit. Followed route around to Stuc Loch na Cabhaig and descended steeply down to cross the burn to the stalkers path back out. Blue skies and cold wind on tops. Total time: 5h 29min.mproudfoot19/11/2022
Via NW ridge to Stuc Loch na Cabhaig. Early mist and rain cleared and tops were clear, wonderful views all round. Route steep but not as bad as I’d feared, a path of sorts has formed. Some mild scrambling just before the top. In view of the damp rock decided not to continue east over the tower and returned by the outward route. The corrie to the NE from the col between Stuc Loch na Cabhaig and Beinn Dearg isn’t mentioned much but looks an easy way off, though a long walk home from there.douglas_easton24/09/2022
From free CP to SSW. Good paths to approx. NG 881 611. Then very steep grassy ascent to ridge, after, very good Munro-style path along and over Stuc Loch na Cabhaig to Beinn Deargcarole engel16/09/2022
With Bob, Brian, Janice and Anne. A lovely ascent in the warm sunny weather. Great views. No camper vans up 'ere!Play2End04/06/2022
After SLnC, good path all the wayiangalbraith15/05/2022
All three Beinn Dearg tops. Headed up to ridge too early and it was a real struggle and not very safe in places. Should have persevered to west ridge but I forgot what the guidebook had said and spotted my own poor line. After that the ridge was as was the decent directly south from the final top. All in all a very good mountain,. I may go back another day and get th ascent line right.dickscroop13/09/2021
After Stuc Loch na Cabhaig.duchally30/08/2021
From Coire MhicNobaill, ridge traverse from Cabhaig to Feola the descended SSE to path. Steep, but only serious problem encountered was at pinnacle at 898606, only visible path forward was a high path on south side which led to an unsafe drop. Back and descended north side to 750m, then found grassy ledges along steep north face to broad ridge continuation.Topographer5702/07/2021

Cairngorm Club Meet. Alone. From the car park next to the bridge over Abhainn Coire Mhic Nobuil. Went up SSW ridge to Tom na Gruagaich. I reached Sgurr Mhor of Beinn Alligin, went across the 3 Horns of Alligin, then to Stuc na Cabhaig and Beinn Dearg. There was heavy rain and mist initially, clearing on the Horns, then occasional mist, with good views.pwbellarby22/09/1984
My 1st Torridon hill (and what a hill) climbed on the first day of what became many repeat Torridon New Year gatherings with University YHS group. Pouring with rain and windy as a large group of us trudged around the back of Lliathach. Most turned back, then the rain stopped and Tony and I decided to tackle this huge beast. We scrambled straight up crags and steep wet gullies working out a line as went (inspired by reading the exploits of WH Murray). Incredible wilderness views through the mist. Came onto the eastern top plateau. then dicey scrambling above gullies until summit reached and shelter behind the large cairn. Peering at the map contours we opted (why?) for a direct descent south ! Crag steps and slimey waterfall and mushy gullies -slow , much concentration, and exciting. Almost dark as we reached the road & 2 mile walk back to hostel. An exhilarating day out.Chris Pearson29/12/1983
From Torridon; path up Coire MhicNobaill. Steep pull up North side. The Terrier and the F.C's last Corbett. With the Terrier, the F.C, Loafer Len, and Slim Jim.The Captainblank
