Walked from Glenridding campsite via Lantys Tarn (nice and peaceful) and Glenamara Park (many trees now felled) and onto path up. Cut off path for more direct ascent, tougher but cut out much double backing on path on top towards Birks.

From Bridgend to Lane Head ascent to Trough Head to Arnison Crag. Return to Trough Head and ascent of Birks and on to St Sunday Crag. Descent to Deepdale Hause and Grisedale Tarn, circle tarn along north shore. Ascent of Seat Sandal, descent to Grisedale Hause around south side of Grisedale Tarn. Final set of hills around Deepdale to complete the Wainwrights with Mark W who finished his second round and Mr Murphy. Set of from Bridgend eastwards to Deepdale Hall andt ascend the bracken covered slopes up to Arnison Crag retracing our steps to go on to Birks, St Sunday Crag, Cofa Pike, Fairfield, Hart Crag and finally number 214 Hartsop above How before descending back to the car.
