Bitterly cold and grey climb via Nanny Lane from Troutbeck Church. Deep drifting snow and driving wind at the top. Could have done with crampons in a couple of places. Slid down from Wansfell to Ambleside.Paul

Parked at approx: NY412027. Nice hot day - Nobody wanted to walk to Baystones so had it all to myself, all seemed happy to bag Wansfell Pike.James
