Path to Home Loch. After the loch failed to find the start of track where it leaves the landrover track (at cairn and old ruins). Straight up and down, leaving track at the same point as Bolton. | iangalbraith | 15/09/2023 |
With: hb; From Braemore Junction CP via path passing Home Loch then long path round to Allt na h-Ighine until bealach. Then followed path over Creag Bac na Faire onto Beinn Enaiglair. Descended south west to join path back via Home Loch. | Ian Baines | 15/05/2023 |
With John from Braemore Jct. was around 6in of snow just at the car park so we decided on as direct a route as possible. Follow the snowy track around to Home Loch with snow varying from ankle to knee deep. At the branch, headed East up alongside Allt a Chumhainm and then basically took a direct route NE up to the summit - knee deep snow, with occasional drops into waist high drifts which made for slow and tiring progress. Very strong (freezing) wind on summit so didn't stay for long - but great clarity up there. Returned same way - 5h 5min total time. | mproudfoot | 21/01/2023 |
