Avoided any showers; delightful glen with autumn colours on the trees, excellent stalkers' path nearly to the top, very runnable. Mist and bitterly cold wind on top but pleasant down low, and glimpses of the Assynt hills from just below the top. | NorfolkPT21 | 28/10/2021 |

With: hb; From Kildermorie Lodge (courtesy of Ian Duncan), by stalkers track (V wet after heavy rain) onto Creachan an Fhiodha. Nice perched boulder and curious cairns on ridge. Across to Carn Chuinneag with blizzard on top! Nice walk back in sun. | Ian Baines | 22/05/2021 |
With J from Glencalvie Lodge on a beautiful spring day. Took the more E track over higher ground and saw 2 huge herds of deer. Worked way round tracks to start of stalkers path and followed this close to W top. Over moss and loose rock to top and then easier ground to summit where there is a magnificent view in all directions. Returned by stalkers path and track down glen. Some lower slopes were covered in primroses. Some tracks were strewn with, er, potatoes... Gathering clouds soaked us in final 20 minutes. | NotReallyABagger | 16/05/2021 |

Lot of snow about but track clear enough to around NH 4709 8401 when we lost it and went directly to the West top before coming over to here. On to Carn Maire. Carn Chuinneag and adjoining hills. Very pleasant walk along Glen Calvie, then stalkers path and final bouldery climb to Carn Chuinneag West Top then across to Carn Chuinneag. On to Carn Maire, Carn an Lochan (several large rocks on summit), Carn na Gobhlaig-beithe and Carn Dubh. Descent S to join track and return along Glen Calvie. Snow flurries on the tops. | RobertP | 01/11/2016 |
What a great hill. Climbed from Kildermorie, dodging the forestry work onto the old pony track. This peters out in bogs and peat hags, which are somewhat tiresome, but after that, it's a glorious easy stroll on short heather, lichen and granite gravel along a broad ridge, and then over the three tops. The views to the North are stunning, with just about every one of the hills in view all the way from Beinn Mor Coigeach round to Morven. I back tracked from the west top to the col, to pick up a long, dry, easy ridge down to the estate track along the Abhainn Glasa. As a bonus, I found Bambi lying in the grass playing dead. | Gill | 14/06/2016 |
GGWC. Great views from top. Interesting history too. | Maggie | 01/05/2016 |

From end cut up through deep snow, mist and ice plus boulder fields. Gusty wind on top weather front returning. Good effort. | nordicstar | 04/05/2013 |
