From parking at Silverbridge. Good tracks all the way, views to the west and a bank out cloud to the east.JasonStark17/02/2024
WIth J on the best weather day of a week based in Sutherland. Parked at Silverbridge & followed the track all the way to the summit. Wandered along towards Tom na Caillich & joined lower track to rejoin ascent route. Red deer hind at bottom of track very tame: approached us, sniffed around us & rucksacks. Probably kept as a pet. Found a pram half way up track with some juicy looking blueberries in it! Encountered the owners of pram carrying a very young, sleeping Corbett bagger a short time later. At bottom heard & then caught a fleeting glimpse of bluethroats.NotReallyABagger25/05/2023
With: hb; From car park at Silverbridge, followed good track through farm and several gates all the way to the summit. Slight variation on descent before rejoining outward track. Very tame red deer hind by farm as mentioned by others.Ian Baines17/05/2023
Not a place to linger today in the bracing wind but on the whole not too demanding getting up here alongside Tony J.Alex C26/11/2022
Great walk up from SilverbridgeAndrew Simmons23/11/2022
Solo from Silverbridge car park. Set off in the dark, with the wind and rain meaning I was in full waterproofs. Wind wasn't too bad until around 100m below the summit where it started to impact my walking but with the landrover track making for stable footing, I got up there, tapped the summit and turned around. Upped my pace for the descent with some semi-jogging/fast-walking back down. No real views, but a tick on my map at least. Total time 2h 10min.mproudfoot27/09/2022

From Silverbridge parking (NH401639), up tracks directly to summit of Little Wyvis, then NE along ridge to Tom na Caillich, descended W to join track end at NH434655, SW back to outward track and return to start (3h25m)kdbennett17/07/2022
Overcast sunny day. Ran till the steep switchbacks before the misty top cairn then ran back down. Two ebikers at cairn. Lovely wideranging long chat with the farmer on the way down.alexmaclennan16/07/2022
From Silverbridge car park up good tracks. Great views from top in all directions. On to Tom na CallichPeterD15/06/2022
Solo cycle from CP on A35. up very good track to bottom of zig-zags above trees. Took the rising traverse track to NE before switch back SW. All rideable to this point, track then became increasingly boggy and unrideable, pushed for about 1/2 km before abandoning bike in very poor visibility. Walked to summit in in heavy rain and 25m visibility. Met a couple of elderly local ladies who advised the zig-track as the better option for cycling. Maybe next time ?John Lee29/05/2022
Great day with Yeltzbagger. Diversion at the start and end because Alf terrible accident on A835 at Garve. That meant a beautiful walk by the Black Water. Met the tamest deer I have ever come across.Stevie n Tay15/05/2022
Silverbridge CP. Estate tracks. Walked but easily bikeable as far as the zig zags. Mild, sunny but cool breeze.iangalbraith25/03/2022

club weekend climbed with RegJamesSDonald01/07/2021
First day up in Dingwall with the caravan (first trip this year) and I bagged a Corbett, Little Wyvis (763m). Parking at the Silverbridge car park on the A835 north of Garve, I then headed up the estate tracks all the way to the summit. There was about 2hrs long snow shower on the way up, but it stopped when I reached the summit and the clouds partially cleared during the descent, 05:10hrs all in.chillyman801/05/2021
From carpark, up and down the bulldozer track, plenty of people out walking, didn't phone.rhalstead30/08/2020
By bulldozed tracks from Silverbridge. Clagged from about 600m up. Walked briskly up, ran down. En route to Torridon. Rounsfell23/07/2020
Colin and I ploughed through knee deep soft snow to reach the summit in approximately 2 hours. The rain came on as we reached the track out. (We had to abandon our ambitions in Strath Conon the previous day due to the snow conditions.iansm28/02/2020
From Silverbridge. Too busy having a good time to check map and continued along track around side of hill! Scrambled steeply up to rejoin the right track a short way from the summit. Grand views from the top. Back down correct track (!)the pigguy 27/09/2019
1 & 3 of 3: Out from Silver Bridge CP with Karen who then waited at the cairn for my return from Tom na Caillich. 2nd visit. Warm and sunny with excellent views this time.ChrisR25/08/2019
From Silverbridge. Good track but 3 gates to negotiate. The hill deserves a better reputationtrimarc225/05/2019

f.a, solo, cold start then v.mild as height was gained, 8.3 miles, 4hrs 31m, started from garbat lay by, bealach mor path then uphill by the forests edge to a minor col and the summit, very mild, descended down a track, through the forest to Garve and the train station.rum doodle 15/02/2019
on the way back from climbing Sgurr Ban (Fisherfield); I had breakfast at my overnight venue (Altguish Inn); I started up the hill just before 9 am; I followed the lan rover track that runs all the way to the top; after making slow progress with too many short sessions and too many stops, I started walking at a slower steadier pace and made much better progress; great views all round - oil rigs at Invergordon, Dingwall, Ben Nevis, Slioch, An Teallach, Beinn Dearg; somewhat hostile notices on gates, big shire horses, kite gliding past as I got to the top.langskill25/06/2018
Great fun sledging back down!eilidh07/04/2018
Solo. Strong westerly with brief snow and rain but mostly dry with sun around. Cold. Saw no-one on L Wyvis. Great views though partial esp An Teallach. From B Wyvis car park up path and round back of my hill to join fine summit ridge then down by treeline to path again. Burn here crossable with care but could be problematic. Deep soft snow, in parts, and bog and heather made this route tough going. Snow aided descent. 4.5 hours.niallp25/03/2018
Freezing icy winds and hail made this small hill into a winter epic! My underwear froze to my leg! Nice descent on a long patch of good snow. Solo.Dangerous Dave21/03/2018
From Silverbridge car park at 403640. Easy access but rang the number for permission which was granted. A fast climb in great visibility, the views are tremendous. Cold conditions made walking on the snow easy. Solo, under 3 hours.bolton26/02/2018

Solo from car park over the road at Blackwater Falls. It's farm/estate track all the way up, but make sure you take the right turns on the tracks.DampandDusty04/07/2016
A nice easy walk up the track. The views are fabulous from this side, and you don't get wet feet. It's a much better hill than common consensus would have us believe.Gill18/06/2016

From Black Bridge up and down estate scar (not complaining). Deer farm seems to be defunct (all gates are unlocked). SATO site nearly in operation at summit on arrival. Stayed dry which was a surprise.SS26/06/2015
From car park at 402639 (10:30) up estate track initially towards mast, and then up the front of the hill. Track led to within 100m of summit - efficient but unexiting. Dry, but cloud on top and on munros; views W up the valley OK. Finish 13:10dbb21/05/2015

3rd – Solo. Climbed with Ben Wyvis – the quarter way point of my Munro round. From Garve, follow minor road and forest track to opp car park on A835, then follow track all the way to summit of Little Wyvis. More interesting beyond this point, as no tracks to follow on the higher ground between the Corbett and the main ridge of Ben Wyvis, Warm, dry and sunny day, clear with good views.RGibbs29/04/2006

After orienteering at Creag an Tuathan. Solo. From car park at the bridge over Black Water just north of Garve. I climbed several very high deer fences to avoid caravans, a house and other buildings – there is a notice banning hill walkers etc! Eventually I followed a track towards Bealach Beag, then taking branch not shown on map to summit of Little Wyvis. There are a lot of other tracks not shown on the map. I descended straight down slightly N of W, to N of hill at 405648. I entered the forest and after a short distance found a forest road heading to the main road.pwbellarby12/06/1993
From Garbat. VWDP through forest. At third fence crossed stream for a very steep plod by fence to end of latest plantings. Lizard and frogs. Old posts up to flattish top. Several false summits on the mile walk over grass to the top at 12.15.arranc25/05/1992
