From Quinag CP to NW. Direct to ridge up steep grasscarole engel05/09/2023
With John from A894 north of the Quinag car park (near Allt Leacach). Followed a wet path/track south for a short while and then headed directly SE up the shoulder of Glas Bheinn and followed an intermittent path around to the summit. Returned same route - total time 2h 33.mproudfoot13/08/2023
With J on a bright, clear day. Started from the pull-in next to the footpath. Very boggy, then quickly on to intersecting path leading south. A cairn appears on L where another path heads up into the obvious grassy gully, steep in the middle. Worked our way along ridge to the summit. Returned by same route. Heard then spotted two plovers.NotReallyABagger24/05/2023
From small parking area at 238285. Followed the track E, then larger track S before ascending to the ridge up the obvious steep, grassy gully (as others have clearly done before). Straightforward ascent up the stony ridge (classic Assynt quartzite terrain), descended by the same route. Overcast but generally good views. 6km, 2hRockdoctor20/05/2023
From NW and up obvious gully path. Dangerously windy at the top of the gully so waited over an hour before proceeding. The Andrew Greig book At the Loch of the Green Corrie named after a loch here is well worth a read. Cloudy at the summit but great views to Quinag on descent.danpquinn05/05/2023
Up from the Quinag car park high grey clouds. Good black silhouette of Suilvenvegibagger21/09/2022
Parked on A894 in pull off at path end (NC238284), initially E on track, then S on the Lairig Unapool track, to roughly the track high point, then directly up steep slopes zigzagging between the screen, reaching the ridge near the 596m spot height, then along ridge and across plateau to Glas Bheinn summit, descended N initially, then following ridge NW to Loch a' Choire Dheirg, continuing NW down slopes towards SW corner of Loch na Gainmhich, picking up the path back to the roadkdbennett03/09/2021
From Inchnadamph CP. Couldn't find the beginning of the path! Took an intersection guess. The path starts about 30m from the left turning driveway near the old foot bridge. As usual the weather turned as I approached the top. Thick cloud and drizzle, as I descended ONLY to lift as I got lower, DOH!!! Not an easy bag.Jhimmy03/08/2021
Per Bolton. Evening ramble after long driveTopographer5727/05/2021

From 238285 where there is room for a couple of cars. Paths and then the grass gully easily to the ridge. Great views and clear at the summit despite a showery day. Solo.bolton05/09/2020

From A894, along Lairing Unapool path until I spotted a grassy gully. Though steep in places, this led relatively comfortably (NB- in very dry conditions) onto the NW ridge at a shoulder near pt 596. Pleasant walk along ridge/edge of Coire Dearg to summit. Excellent views today. First leg of Glas Bheinn, Beinn Uidhe and Coire Leacach walk.pwheeler19/05/2018
