Parked at the cattle grid east of Duisky. Over the gate about 75 yards east of the grid, through woodland following the fence to the gate and then directly to the visible top along the old posts. Surprising spectacular east facing cliffs to the summit. We descended towards the hydro road which brought us to the main road at 012770. Easier that way and then east back to the cattle grid. From Stronchreggan as an anti-clockwise circuit with neighbouring sub2k. Beautiful sunny day but a chill in the stiff breeze. Rounsfell24/05/2023
Obvious track heading South from coast. Roadside parking 50m before track. With Tony.HardenC05/03/2023
Ascent from Loch Eil. Parking not as WH says. Track to broad ridge which after heavy rain previous day was boggy. Weather lull and views superb in all directions - 7 in wind chill on top. 5 hours walk in total. With NMkenmorti16/11/2022
With Elaine Edwards, Marcia Wright and Lesley Murray on Wilsons Walkers weekend at Linnhe caravan site.langskill17/09/2022
Combined with Meall an t-Slamain (Marilyn) and trig Camusnagaul (both to east). Dropped bike NN 083760, started walking from good parking (rough layby currently with huge pile of logs alongside) NN 049772. Ground between tops long tussock grass. Track down from trig unbelievably rough - couldn't walk on it. Sign at bottom - unsuitable for atv/4 wheel drive - Argo only. They are not kidding. Thankfully improves after deer gate NN 080 756carole engel12/08/2022
From Sgurr an lubhair. Great views today. With Lee and co.Adrian05/06/2022
Late start from turning area East of Blaich on the A861 with John. Pleasant long track up to the broad grassy ridge with a few wet sections but nothing of concern. From the top of the track we headed WSW across Braigh Blaich towards the summit. Had a spot of lunch below the summit, topped out, then started the descent. Weather was fine - sun and clouds with a light wind. Total time: 3h 47minmproudfoot28/05/2022
From Blaich, track onto ridge then intermittent path along old fence line.rhalstead19/10/2021

From just E of Duisky as per my guide book. Not a good route, pathless through rough and tussocky grass made for hard going for such a short walk. once on ridge it was fine so first to top of Stop Coire a Chearcaill, then west on ridge to Sgurr nan Iobhair. All this mostly i cloud but a break showed me a much better route down. From mid way between tops a low ridge running out to north gives much better ground and leads directly tyo a newish (at least not on my map) track to a small dam which takes you SW to a longer established pat down to road about one mile west of start point. This would be a much better ascent route and there is adequate parking.dickscroop30/07/2021
From Stronchreggan. Followed the track to its end, then diagonal ascent emerging on the broad ridge at about the 720m contour, following deer tracks at times. Then easy to the summit with its impressive corrie wall and fantastic views.Owen B29/05/2021
With John. Super day - perfect visibility and stunning views to Ben, Glencoe, Ardgour. Saw lizard, birds, adder, cows. Lovely path up to summit ridge. Veryhappybunny06/09/2020
Walked to Conaglen House then past the minihydro plant and up the indistinct track by the Alt an Inbhir, seen on Viewranger, then more easily up a broad shoulder to summit. Forecast rain stayed off and even got some sunshine. Good views into Ardgour hills to west and yesterdays hill to south.alexmaclennan05/09/2020
From Bliach. A few light rainshowers, but clear at top. Ben Nevis shrouded in cloud however. Nice view to Gulvain.mcbboyd19/07/2020

High winds, sunshine and showers forecast so walked up the valley from Stronchreggan (limited parking at side of barn). After heavy shower and steep heather slopes, jointed the main east ridge only to get pelted by a hail storm. Took shelter but after 10 minutes it had cleared so continued up the final windy but sunny slopes. Had to hold on to Mrs Mindlessflogger's hand to stop her blowing away. On way back watched the rainbows proceeding in front of the hail storms bound for Fort William.mindlessflogger22/02/2017
Nice new years day walk with Richard. Excellent crisp conditions. A bit breezy on top.amcculloch01/01/2017
36th – With Allan. From Stronchreggan, follow path along stream up Gleann Sron a Chreagain, cut up hillside in NW direction to gain the ridge and follow round to summit. Dry, broken cloud above summit, and a bit of sun – welcome change from previous few days. Good view to Ben Nevis.RGibbs01/01/2017
From Stronchreggan via Bhlaigh. Bitterly cold. Excellent viewpoint.benalder28406/11/2016
With Jon M on a fine day, from gate beyond the cattle grid (good parking) beyond Duisky. Tussocks on lower slopes were avoided on descent by descending to NN 012 751 to join a new track that leads to the road at NN 012 770. This would be a good ascent route. Identified about 30 flower varieties including sundew and saxifrage.Phreerunner04/08/2016

From Blaich on Loch Eil with Shaky. Followed the track next to the Allt na h-Eirigh. Open heathery slopes but surprisingly easy ascent & then SW along the ridge to the top. A good viewpoint. Back by the same route.NotReallyABagger09/09/2014

Trig revisit. Drizzly day, heavy rain overnight so for simplicity I went from N, forest road, cattle/quad path follows the narrow gap between plantations, tussocky moorland then steep clean ascent. WSW to Sgurr an Iubhair then contoured back, crossed the burns high up then picked up my ascent route. Impressive hill even on a poor day.RHW19/09/2010
