Circuit of Beinn Nuis, Beinn Tarsuinn and Cir Mhor from Brodick. | vuirich | 17/08/2023 |
Glen Sannox horseshoe on clear hot day. Good scrambling up to the Bastion, on to Mullach Buidhe along ridge, North Goatfell, descended to The Saddle, steeply up Cir Mhor, along to Caisteall Abhail, ridge to Witch’s Step, down gully then along to Suidhe Fearghas. | PeterD | 14/06/2023 |
Solo after doing Goat Fell on DMC trip. Great clear day with no wind. Walk through to Lochranza | amcculloch | 19/05/2023 |
With CathyS, RobN & Luna. From North Sannox car park to Cladach carpark. | masmith | 28/01/2023 |
Round of four corbetts from Glen Rosa campsite - along the glen then up to Beinn Nuis, along the ridge to Beinn Tarsuinn, bypassed A'Chir, skirting around Cir Mhor up to Casteal Abhail, then back along and up to the summit of Cir Mhor. We then headed back down the bealach between A'Chir and Cir Mhor and down the descent path into Glen Rosa, where we contoured around the base of the slabs under Cir Mhor to the Saddle, then up to North Goat Fell and along to Goat Fell before descending the tourist path, and finally back to the campsite to pack our kit. 11h total (avoiding all technical sections where possible in the interests of speed), and we just made the last ferry by the skin of our teeth! | mproudfoot | 16/07/2022 |
From Beinn Tarsuinn we took the path west of A'Chir to the bealach and then easily up to the summit. Had a good look at A'Chir for a future assault via the grassy slope on the NE side. Descendes from the bealach for the long walk back down Glen Rosa to Cladach. Just under 13 miles and 10.5 hours in great conditions and the company of D.Dave. | bolton | 18/06/2022 |
From Beinn Tarsuinn, bypassing A’ Chir on the path to the west, well below the ridge. With bolton. A fabulous mountain, one of the best! | Dangerous Dave | 18/06/2022 |
Part of the Ultra Tour of Arran Rat Race Day 2. Started off in terrible rain but ended in brilliant sunshine. Disappointed to miss out Goatfell. 10th lady. 31.26 miles 4484 ft elevation | nell1583 | 01/10/2021 |

#633 North Glen Sannox CP, Sail an Im, Carn Mor, Caisteal Abhail, Cir Mhor. | tim747 | 29/09/2017 |
My penultimate Corbett, snuck in on the way home. Off the Lochranza ferry, down to Glen Rosa, scampered up the hill via the saddle, and down the easy way, tore down to the Brodick ferry only to find it was cancelled due to a blown up engine, and a long wait until the next one. A great walk, seriously hot, some splendid views until the fog rolled in. | Gill | 17/06/2017 |
Glen Rosa Horseshoe with Debs, Phil & Blue | Mountain Goat | 14/06/2017 |
A flying visit with Fraser. Got afternoon ferry across and completed Goat Fell in evening dropping down to the saddle where we camped overnight.Next morning completed Cir Mhor and Caisteal Abhail, due to heavy rain called it a day. Will return to complete Ben Tarsuinn and A-Chir | JamesSDonald | 20/05/2017 |
From Goat Fell. Followed the surprisingly good path. Very minor scrambling only. Looked impossibly steep but really wasn't. | Owen B | 14/05/2017 |
Walked up via Glen Rosa. Occassional view of peaks then cloud settled on the tops. Lovely Glen and good track. Great peak. Company: Martin Stewart | iandesbottes | 03/12/2016 |
Steep but straightforward ascent of Goatfell from Corrie. Proceeded to North Goatfell, Saddle & Cir Mhor then retrace and very tough scramble off of Saddle into Glen Sannox & back on road to Corrie. Although face of Cir Mhor looks vertical from Saddle there is a surprisingly well defined and straightforward path/scramble up to the peak. | Argentum66 | 24/08/2016 |
Round of Cir Mhor, Caisteal Abhail and Beinn Tarsuinn. Cir Mhor summit is scary. | Topographer57 | 31/05/2016 |
6th hill of 10 on an epic scrambling challenge from Brodick to Corrie via Beinn Nuiss, Beinn Tarsuinn, Beinn Chliablain, A'Chir and A'Chir North top and after Le Mauvais pas an easy scramble up to a path leading to the summit but i veered off and enjoyed taking an alternative scrambly route to the summit boulder where i found a guy enjoying his now broken solitude!! | Dazingdale | 13/05/2016 |
Veryhappybunny | 25/04/2016 | |
Limited parking near Glen Rosa camp site then adventurous route to Beinn Nuis, Beinn Tarsuinn, detour below A Chir before Cir Mhor then return to col before descending the fine path back into Glen Rosa with Chris Watson. | Dugswell2 | 20/04/2016 |
Very good path down into Glen Rosa from col SW of summit and all the way to Castle Lodge. Pity that I lost it in the trees in the dark and got chased by bullocks and caught up in brambles trying to escape. | alda | 19/04/2016 |

3 of 4: From Beinn Tarsuinn. | ChrisR | 26/09/2015 |
The fourth hill climbed while doing all four Arran Corbetts (6 tops in total) in one day. | Chris Mac | 26/07/2015 |
26th – Solo. From Brodick, follow track along Glenrosa Water, ascend Beinn Nuis, then follow the ridge for a clockwise circuit of the three Corbetts, walked out to Corrie for bus on A841. This is a very fine outing, and the equal of almost any ridge on the mainland – interesting scrambling between Beinn Tarsuinn and Cir Mhor to stay on the crest of the ridge and again in the descent of Cir Mhor. Cool, dry, overcast day, but cloud above summits. | RGibbs | 26/07/2015 |
Excellent path up Glen Sannox then a battle through rocky debris to get to the col. Then an amazing path taking the easiest lines to get into a gulley, then to just below the summit. A walk over rocks from there- barely scrambling- gave this, one of the most dramatic Scottish summits. Islanders on Arran reckon it the best of all in Scotland. A great ascent | pwheeler | 03/06/2015 |

(Cont fr Goatfell). Very steep up from bealach after N Goatfell but good path. From summit continued to A'cir ridge, but failed on steep descent to gap and had to return and contour below before ascent to Beinn Tarsuinn (qv) | dbb | 17/04/2014 |

With Beinn Tarsuinn via Glen Rosa (Beinn Nuis first, then over Tarsuinn, then on to Cir Mhor bypassing A'Chir). Descended the fairly steep east side of the hill to the bealach with Goat Fell at the Saddle, then back down the Glen Rosa path. | milngavie_kenny | 22/05/2012 |
