After Ben Vorlich. Snowy foggy. With Richard. Rock outcrop by cairn. Route finding on snowy scramble to north top required some care. Not icy but ice axe useful. Descend via Ben Our.Denise 06/03/2024

Straight up the motorway from Ardvorlich to the summit trig, down to the Beallach & scramble up Stuc a Chroin & it's N top. Descent NW, NE then N to skirt W side of Ben Vorlich on good paths. Then picked up smaller path & ATV track to summit of Creagan nan Gabhar. Great views of Stuc scramble from here. Path continues to Ben Our & on over Sron Mhor. Path disappeared here and we descended E, zigzagging to avoid bracken to meet main motorway just above dog gate. According to a very pleasant local, 14000 people climb these munros every year!Lynnebe05/07/2023

Ben Vorlich and Stuc a'Chroin from Edinample Castle up track to Glenample via Glen Ample, Coire Fhuadaraich and on to shoulder of Ben Vorlich. Follow fence line along Creag Chasain and on to Stuc a'Chroin. Descent towards Creag Dhubh and down shoulder an descent to hydroelectric station and return via Glen Ample.raymooremanx02/04/2023
With Bert from Ardvorlich combined with Stuc a Chroin. Clear day climbed the ridge up well established path with steepening ascent to Trig point summit. Met canadaian lady on her way down. She had lived in Scotland 22 years. went on to Sutc a Chroin and returned via boggy traverse around side of hill to return to car. Black Dunancan Campbells Castle at Edinample together with graver steon of 7 MacDonalds killed by locals reminded us of the tension in the highlands of old.david.walker4019/03/2023
2/2 with Ben Vorlich, sunny but freezing, nice scramble made it interesting, way down after initial steep descent was a tedious tramp through, often boggy, pathsPDuncan8225/02/2023
Roadside parking near Ardvorlich House (NN 6322 2321). Ben Vorlich and Stuc a' Chroin N top first, then short walk across to here. Picked up Creagan nan Gabhar and Ben Our on the way back. 10 mile round, with DS.jonglew22/02/2023

Nice and clear to start with, some clouds appearing to blot out the partial eclipse of the sun, light got a bit dim then brightened before the summit of Ben Vorlich. On up the scramble to Stuc a'Chroin. Low cloud, wet and greasy rock then total lack of visibility until part way down the steep path leading to the water board track.Cumbrianexile25/10/2022
Braeleny, up track to Arivurichardich across two new bridges. Trod path all the way to bealach Beag-laraich. Steeply up ridge and along path to summit. South-east to Beinn Each and down ridge to Sgaith an Dobhrain, steeply down south spur to New hydro track NN633132 back to the two new bridges. No river crossing and no bogs.Flatfield10/09/2022

Up the scramble, nearly couldn't do it, but managed just about. Came back the easier path to the East and traversed around Ben Vorlich. Path very wet.tallblond28/05/2022
My fifth munro! With meltdiceburg. Parked up near Loch Earn, climbed Ben Vorlich first, then headed over to Stuc a Chroin. Looped back via the moorland path. Warm, clear, sunny weather and stunning views.Alma Aurea28/05/2022
Friday night adventure. Loop of ben vorlich and stuc a' chroin. 5hrs for the 16km,back at car just in time for dark!Nicky C20/05/2022
After BV with 'Louise' and other lad. Teamed up with L at base of scramble and caught up with other lad half way up. The snow had obfuscated the paths and after a hairy attempt at the N side, we retreated E and chose a drier and easier but still quite dodgy route up. I reversed on way down and we met up for descent.iangpark22/03/2022

Ascent via the Ardvorlich estate in bright sunny conditions. From Ben Vorlich the ascent of Stuc a' Chroin was via the Prow; a very nice scramble.knarf02/10/2019
The path up to Ben Vorlich was quite busy but a lot less people made the journey to Stuc a' Chroin. Very windy up to Ben Vorlich but then it died off. The scramble up to Stuc a' Chroin wasn't that bad and there was only one bit that involved stretching your arm out to get a fingerhold. The scree path back down was a bit steep but fine. 6.5 hours in total.tsharp15/09/2019
Ben Vorlich and Stuc a' Chroin from Loch Earn. Great weather, great company, great walk. AJ,AW.Fred Windsor13/09/2019
A hike up Beinn Each with Iain then a walk along the ridge to Stuc a' Chroin taking in all tops and relaxing in the sun on the summit, enjoying the company of some lovely dogs and people. We then went past the prow and dropped down into Glen Ample north of Coire Chroisg over rough steep ground to the track in Glen Ample before returning to the start at Loch Lubnaig. A great walk on a lovely day, tough going in places with 1443m of ascent over 16.5km.Chris Mac07/09/2019
Second solo munro. Went 'easy' way. Absolutely fantastic weather. Very boggy on descent.Skerryvore07/09/2019
