Parked in the large layby on A82 to the NW. Followed the River Falloch track. Crossed river and rising traverse onto the Grey Height ridge to Meall Dhamh. As the path began to steeply zig zag up the W side of Cruach Ardrain, contoured around about 880m contour above the crags and steep gullies to the S ridge to bag Beinn Tulaichean, returning for Cruach Ardrain's SW and main tops. The plan was to go onto Stob Garbh but the initial descent off CA looked too challenging for us so we backtracked to Meall Dhamh followed the good path to the wood edge and down to the footbridge Enjoyable hot day with good views all round. From the Inverlochlairg walkers' car park (NN 4458 1845). Good track to NN 4343 1876, then turned left and made it up, some faint trods picked up on the way up. On to Cruach Ardrain and Stob Garve plus some intermediate deleted Munro Tops. | jonglew | 23/02/2023 |

From Inverlochlarig. Up there with the most brutal ascents of my Munros so far - exceedingly steep and about 4 false summits through the cloud and wet. Lots of interesting botany about. | iangpark | 13/07/2022 |

Being Tulaichean and Cruach Ardrain from Inverlochlarig, taking in Cruach Ardain SW top, very steep down after Cruach Ardrain to Stob Barbh and its SE top headed back into the valley towards Stob Binnein from the Bealach, very steep, but not too bad. 15km in 4.5hrs | Nicky C | 11/09/2021 |

Ascent made from Inverlochlarig. Initially a dreary climb but omproving when on the ridge. Straightforward walk to Cruach Ardrain but the summit was in cloud. | knarf | 10/09/2020 |

Cracking day out running with Brian Smith. hard climb up and wet a lot of the way but worth the effort for the views. | Kevthecat | 06/07/2020 |
An unpleasant struggle in wind and icy hail on snowy icy terrain to the icy cairn , where we did not linger long. Quite pleasant earlier on Stob Glas, but hard work continuing to Cruach Ardrain. | Denise | 18/03/2020 |
Windy then wet day up Cruach Ardrain. | AJones | 19/02/2020 |
Reached from the lay by on the A82 outside Crianlarich, a seven mile walk following the track under the railway line then cutting up to Grey Height over Meall Dhamh and onto Cruach Ardrain, taking seven and a half hours. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 28/04/2019 |

Started the walk from the car park at Inverlochlarig at the end of Loch Voil. The going is very steep up grassy slopes and no distinct paths to follow until you get closer to the summit. Once at the summit of Beinn Tulaichean I carried on down to the bealach and then up to Cruach Ardrain. The return journey took me back to the bealach between the two mountains and then headed in an Easterly direction down the hill to the farm track in Inverlochlarig Glen. Followed this track back to the starting point. Walk took just over the 5 hours. | Anglostark | 25/03/2019 |
same trip as Cruach Ardain | HardenC | 01/03/2019 |
From Inverlochlarig (NN 44575 18461) - Beinn Tulaichean - Cruach Ardrain SW Top - Cruach Ardrain. Intermittent path on the initial ascent of Beinn Tulaichean but becomes more distinct nearer the summit. Ground very wet and slippery on the descent from the bealach between Beinn Tulaichean & Cruach Ardrain SW Top to Inverlochlarig Glen. Good track along the glen back to the car park. | david230201 | 24/02/2019 |
Beinn Tulaichean (946m) and Cruach Ardrain (1046m) accessed from Iverlochlarig, west of Balquhidder. It was a killer ascending up Beinn Tulaichean, through the mist, I had to convince myself to carry on, but the views from the top were incredible. I got my first ever inversion, with all the mountains poking out the mist like islands in the sea. 7:10 hours all in. | chillyman8 | 24/02/2019 |
Crianlarich - Stob Garbh - Cruach Ardrain - Beinn Tulaichean - Beinn a' Chroin - An Caisteal - Crianlairich (via West Highland Way). Frozen ground and some snow, patches of blue sky in amongst the clouds. | twg27 | 04/12/2018 |
