Wet and windy ascent, with Tom and Duncan, following the muddy track towards the summit. Forget about doing the tops in this wind.alexmaclennan17/02/2024
Used car park near Auchlean, Glen Feshie. Mullach Clach a'Bhlair, Carn Ban Mor and Sgor Gaoith on good tracks. Very windy with cloud base progressively rising to 1000m during the day. With Gillianrichard6910/10/2023
From Auchlean carpark, through pines on superb path, to carn Ban and then along edge. No cairn, big drop with blocky edge. In rain but view at the top. Continue to Mullach Clach. Solo.Denise 07/10/2023
In good conditions. From Auchlean car park.David Bremner20/06/2023
Excellent path from Glen Feshie to Sgor Gaoith, round to Sgoran Dubh Mor, Meall Buidhe and Geal Charn then steeply down through rocks and heather back to the path. With DRC.TRG31816/06/2023

OMC Meet at Milehouse, Kincraig With Andy Moffat, James Priestley and Ali Shaw, started at Achlean car park. Followed good path up to Carn Ban Mor, then north to Sgor Gaoith. Descended into Coire Gorm a' Chrom-alltain, then out along the path to the lower Glen Feshie carpark. Snow started above 700m some deep area, which I struggled with, really hard going. Glad I wore winter boots, but no need for crampons. Fantastic views in every direction, 7hrs all in.chillyman811/03/2023

From Aviemore via Allt Coire Follais to Argyll Stone. Windy with white-out above 950m made for slow going. Return via Meall Buidhe and Geal Charn and along Allt a Mharcaidh (no path on ground, wouldn’t recommend)Yrarthblewog21/02/2022

My second summit of the day targeting Sgor Gaoith and Muliach Clach a Bhlair from Auchlean. A good path up, spectacular views from this summit on a still clear day.meltdiceburg02/08/2021
Parked N of Balachroick, taking path E and then up NNE to beallach below Creag Mhigeachaidh. Climbed Creag Mhigeachaidh, return to beallach and then Geal-charn, Meall Buidhe, and steady climb to Sgoran Dubh Mor. Pleasant high level traverse to Sgor Gaoith, with excellent views. Then Carn Ban Mor, Tom Dubh and out and back to Carn na Criche. Then Meall Dubhag, a slightly misjudged traverse to reach Carn Ban Mor West Top, Carn Ban Beag, descent to track running below W side of Creag Ghiuthsachan and return to start. Hot dry conditons.RobertP15/07/2021

With Swot, Ed Holmes, Mark Turner & J. Auchlean, Carn Ban Mor, Sgor Gaoith, Sgoran Dubh Mor, Meall Buidhe, Meall Tionail, E through forest to road. Howling gale on top - steady 60mph forcast believable. J turned back before Carn Ban Mhor due to the wind. Roped up on top due to risk of cornices plus training/experience for Ed who did good job navigating.Neily There16/03/2020

12.5 mile circular from Achlean up normal path over Carn Ban Mor and onto Sgor Gaoiths great summit, continued along ridge to Sgoran Dubh Mhor all on easy paths, we saw the showers coming and decided to descend over Meall Buidhe and Geal-Charn (easy rocky terrain), the descent off Geal-Charn started bouldery but turned into steep heather, then followed little path back into forest and along road to start. High cloud and showery weather, great views from top but cloud stayed on the Braeriach mass most of the day, passed 4 people all day.DanTrig16/06/2019
