Wonderful dark starlit night with the crescent waning moon having just risen. Hafod Ithel was the most prominent hill of 10 TuMP's that I climbed on an excellent through-the-night walk from Builth Road to Aberystwyth.Alex C18/11/2014
Parked at the top of the nearby road for a quick ascent. A pleasant hill that deserves more than a quick bag.Sprog29/05/2014
After a 4h walk on Waun Claerddu, my brother drove us down Cwmystwyth and over to a road just 70 ft below Hafod Eithel. We were on the summit in minutes, then made a walk on pleasant moorland, above Llyn Eiddwen onto a ridge, Pant-y-Gwyn to the popular viewpoint- excellent view especially over to the coastpwheeler04/05/2014
