Nice evening stroll after the club had closed, some great views | Stevooo | 03/09/2021 |
Parked at the clubhouse, though you can drive further up. The summit cairn was almost hidden in the bracken. Looks like a tricky course with all that bracken - though according to a golfer I spoke to, once the bracken has died off 'you can hit it wherever you want'. | paulhilder | 24/08/2021 |

Nice clear walk from Hergest Ridge. Had the company of a pleasant local fellow for part of the way down Offa's Dyke. Route very clear at the Hergest end but progressively more overgrown towards this peak - would advise decent hiking boots and thick trousers. Long sleeves ideally! | jamiequackers | 17/07/2021 |
from club house walkers welcome | underhill | 02/07/2021 |
Stanner Junction - Worsell Wood - Hanter Hill - Hergest Ridge - Stanner Hill - Herrock Hill - Rushock Hill - Bradnor Hill - Kington. | Mark Jackson | 17/04/2021 |
Parked at golf clubhouse CP (there are no signs to tell you, but you can drive on up, past two maintenance buildings, to an NT sign and small CP on R at SO286582). Followed this tarmac road up R to metal gate, from where golf cart tracks loop L around the N side of the top playing area, to the top (no need to annoy any golfers with potentially making big divots by one's boots in their fairways). | Isbjorn | 14/04/2021 |
Parked in some parking spaces at bottom near main road. Walked up road and across onto path which led up to golf course. Weaved my way across various fairways and on to top. Looked like a good golf course | ketzster | 22/06/2020 |

From Kington via Offa's Dyke Path. Used road at side of golf course and branched off up a track through bracken to 8th tee. Cairn is visible deity bracken but takes some finding. With TJB | trimarc2 | 07/08/2017 |

Parked next to greenkeeper's hut (can go further) then walked further up to avoid golfers. Bracken well back so easily found. Came straight across course on descent as nobody playing the holes involved. | SS | 02/01/2017 |
6th and final summit of the day on the Knighton to Kington leg of my Offas Dyke path walk, climbing Hawthorn hill, Pen Offa, Burfa Bank, Herrock hill and Rushock hill. I left my rucksack at a junction on the Offas Dyke path and then stepped over an electric fence cable and walked up one field to a gate and then onto the golf course past the Defibrillator hut onto the 8th tee where after walking around for a few minutes I stumbled upon the summit rocks that were hidden from view by the bracken. Re-traced route back to rucksack and Offas Dyke path to continue on till I reached the Benchmark B&B in Kington. | Dazingdale | 17/10/2016 |
