Nuttall walk 13.4 but a few changes. Slightly more direct route to Fan Frynych after reading the notice board by the CP. Also visited the Fan Fawr trig point and out and backed Y Gyrn from Storey Arms before walking along the Taff Trail. With RDan Baddeley28/08/2023

From an unusually empty car park opposite Storey Arms - even the burger van was closed. Up tourist path and along a sodden ridge track to intersection with old stone wall and newer bwf. Helpful piles of stones by bwf. Top was in cloud so no views. Very wet and windy. 45mins round trip. Solo.richard6903/01/2023

30 mile circular walk from Taf Fechan up to Pen-Y-Fan and east over Waun Rydd. Misty day, but good temperature for walking, especially for a challenging hike!JazDisney01/05/2022
Climbed in storm Eunice. Started out on Storey Arms route but stream in spate and crossing impossible. Returned & rerouted via Pont Ar Daf car park. Fantastic wind, became impossible to walk at the top of the ridge so abandoned Pen Y Fan and others for a bracing walk back. 10/10.Barns15020/02/2022
Considered retro-ticking this, thinking I must've been over it at some stage but climbed it anyway and it didn't seem familiar. Very straightforward from Storey Arms. The sun disappearing behind Fan Fawr as its summit emerged from cloud was probably the highlight of an unremarkable day.Wycombe Wanderer11/01/2022
Up tourist path from the Storey Arms, then track along ridge to summit. Hp on other side of barbed wire fence. Solo.Dangerous Dave28/11/2021

Solo. From the carpark a little south of Storey Arms. After ascending Corn Du, Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Craig Gwaun Taf used a path that swings in a big loop to the north. In contrast to the other overcrowded paths I had used earlier I only met one other person. At a gate in a fence I went along the fence and remains of old wall alongside it to the summit of Y Gyrn. This in on the west side of the fence/wall. Mostly good weather but some mist and a little rain.pwbellarby15/09/2018
