This was my final summit of day 3 of a 6 day backpack in the Northern Pennines. I had walked over from Bellbeaver Rigg via the infant Tees and Knock Old Man. A tougher approach than I expected and I camped on Knock Old Man afterwards.morgs4mountains23/03/2022

A good walk round from Dufton using the old mine track up Rundale. Turned off this near top and skirted along edge to make direct approach on Backstones trig and top. Then direct back to track, down a little way, and across old mining area to Rosgill edge. Steep down and up onto Brownber Hill. Another steep down and then up onto Dufton Pike. A fine Marilyn! Nice winter sunshine except on Backstones. With B and R.jenx25/11/2020

Walked from Dufton on my own. Dull but clear enough for good views. I enjoyed the walk up this fell. Just followed the mine track most of the way, quite eerie though as it was really quiet, no birds except for a couple of geese.flockwatcher07/04/2017

Delightful walk up from Dufton via White Rake, descending west to the wall to rejoin the track. Remnants of Hurricane Bertha made for very strong winds on the top but the views were clear and the ascent and descent were mostly sheltered.ruthatlast11/08/2014
