New Year's Day walk with L. Parked beyond Pen Y Gwyrd, hitched lift to Pen Y Pass. Up Pyg, down Miners. Approx 3 hours up, 2 hours 30 down - about 5 hours 45 total including brief stop at summit and short lunch stop on way down. Hitched lift in Pen Y Pass car park back to the car. With NB. Drove down from Spean Bridge. From Pen-y-pass. Up Miners, down Pyg. Set off at 17.15, cloudless, 28C. From Glaslyn mercifully in the shade to the summit ridge, slight breeze. Top at 19.30, then 35 minutes at the summit in perfect almost cloudless weather. Dawdled on the return, enjoying the setting sun deep down over Nant Peris. Back at 22.00.Owen B30/06/2018

Started about 1pm from Bethania and walked up Watkins Path. Dull overcast day, cloud down to Bwlch Ciliau so up the scree in clag. At top of the scree turned south to Bwlch Main (didn't bother with the summit) then down South Ridge to Bwlch Cym Llan and out along the incline. Slow; not back to car until 7pm. Now completed the principal paths: Crib Goch (up), Lliwedd (down), Pyg (up and down), Miners (up), Llanberis (up and down), Ranger (down), Rhyd Ddu (up), Watkins (up),South Ridge (down).
