Lost path up Beinn Tarsuinn until near top, 11.57. Along ridge for short way before path contoured below ridge ti steep descent path to wide bealach. On over rest of Fisherfield Munros to Shenavall for 17.30. Then back to Corrie Hallie for 20.30.Flatfield30/08/2022

Solo round of six from wild camp near the Alder woods at around NH088788 - left the tent 5:30am straight into the most voracious cloud of midges I've ever encountered - headtorch on - fortunately the recent dry conditions had made the river easy to cross without taking boots off. Tough climb up the east side of Beinn a' Chlaidheimh, but above 500m, a light cool breeze kept the midges at bay (and me cool). That was definitely the toughest ascent of the day, but not the toughest part. The ascent up Sgurr Ban was fairly straight forward, the boulders were not terrible and the summit was soon reached (didn't even notice the shelter until I had passed it). At this point, the remaining summits were all covered in clag - but just as I descended to Cab Coire nan Clach bealach to head up the dusty path in the scree on Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair, the cloud cleared off. I bypassed Meall Garbh, and slowly headed up the grassy slops of Beinn Tarsuinn. Met a few other folk at the topmproudfoot04/09/2021

From A832 near Loch a' Bhraoin. Cycled as far as Lochavroin cottage/bothy (although the track on the lochside isn't great for cycling). SB, MCMF then BT. From the summit returned to Bealach Odhar, contoured around to Coire Mhic Fhearchair, across Bealach na Croise and picked up the path again at Feinasheen. Long day. Great day.
