Day 1 on Skye, tough day out with poor visibility but great day with technical walking and great scrambling made up for the lack of views. | Kevthecat | 03/07/2022 |
First of 3 with guide Alex on a shocker of a day. Rocks slippy but he kept us right with ropes for tricky scrambles😀. Great day | akmilne | 27/06/2022 |

Sgurr nan Eag and Sgurr Dubh Mor with Harrison and Bethany. Roasting hot day added a extra challenge, and Bethany decided to skip Dubh Mor and wait in Coire Ghrunnda for us to return. Was glad to get back to Glenbrittle (where I just about emptied the campsite shop of cold drinks). | mproudfoot | 05/06/2022 |

OMC Meet at Glenbrittle campsite, with Karen Webber and Andy Moffat. The hike into Coira' Ghrunnda was fine until a navigational mishap required a rope over a slightly exposed step well to the left of the burn. From the coire up to Sgurr nan Eag was steep but ok then along the ridge. Sunny all day with views of Rum, Canna, Muck, Eigg and Mull, western islea just visible in the haze. Once back in coire the coastguard helicopter buzzed us twice then landed as a training exercise, amazing. | chillyman8 | 29/04/2022 |
With Dave on trip to Dunvegan, but he went down and left this to me. Very tricky descent. | Tintenty | 29/04/2022 |
With D, James and Jayne, perfect weather on round of southern 3. | Rodge | 27/06/2021 |
Southern 8 Cuillins climbed on rather wet day. An attempt to climb all 11, but plans changed due to weather. 22km, 13h, 2000m elevation gain. | ytropek | 30/08/2020 |
From Glen Brittle Memorial Hut, good track leads up into Coir' a' Ghrunnda, gets a bit scrambly but nothing difficult. Fourth hill on a linear route to Gars-bheinn. On to Sgurr a' Choire Bhig. | jonglew | 01/10/2019 |
Solo fr car parked by Glen Brittle campsite, mostly running on improved path to Coir' a' Ghrunnda then scrambled up here. Tops all clear with a light dusting of snow, but rather hazy. | NorfolkPT21 | 08/04/2019 |
From Glenbrittle camp site, via moorland paths to foot of SW flank. An initial 'barrier' of iced-up slabs at the start of the SW flank was passed approximately centrally, then 2,000 feet of snow covered unstable boulders and scree, interspersed with slabs coated with ice. Lots of 'dead' ground above, meaning some route choices had to be reversed once what was in the dead ground was revealed. If there is an 'obvious' zig-zag scree path, I saw no signs of it. Route finding was not half so difficult coming back down, but care had to be taken to locate the passage back through the icy slabs barrier. Not a route I wish to repeat. | Isbjorn Winter Round | 18/01/2019 |

BC Skye meet, with Ken Wright and Jim Plaice. | clashcityrocker | 18/07/2017 |
With Ken and Dave our guide. 9 hour demanding day. Lot of boulder work and scrambling . Misty and overcast and route finding would have been difficult without a guide. I was roped up for Dubh Mor . | slynch | 16/07/2017 |

First summit on traverse to Sgurr Alasdair. Walk round to Coir' a' Ghrunnda from Glen Brittle easy, ascent to Loch more difficult as was ascent onto ridge. Great views across to Bla Bheinn. Walked out to Gars-bheinn and returned over summit again. | quadbarrel | 15/10/2014 |
1 of 5: From Glen Brittle campsite CP. | ChrisR | 26/06/2014 |
2nd of 2. After having lunch I then started the trek over to nan Eag...ended up on the wrong side of the ridge and had a hairy moment to get back on the right side. Ran into troubles descending too...very different to mainland Munros! 16.6km, 1685m, 11hr30. | bowzi | 16/06/2014 |
Climbed from Glenbrittle Campsite with my dad (his and my first Cuillin Munro) in beautiful clear conditions. Relatively straightforward approach from Loch a Ghrunnda. Seemed to be one of the very few people on the hill without a Guide. | andy | 04/06/2014 |
