The Glen Lyon Horseshoe from Invervar, following the estate instruction to do the route in a clockwise direction, taking in the 4 Munros and most of the Tops. Parking in the car park is now reserved for residents in the summer season, so all walkers must use the large layby 1 km to the west. Visited Carn Gorm, An Sgorr, Meall Garbh, Meall Garbh E Top, Meall Luaidhe, Meall a'Bharr, Carn Mairg, Meall Liath, Meall na Aighean E Top, Meall na Aighean, Meall na Aighean W Top. Splendid weather with views from Ben Nevis to Ben Macdhui. 27km with 1700m ascent, taking 10 hours.silveracorn_alan01/06/2023

Fairly long and windy loop over 8 summitsRhayader_wander07/07/1995
Included this outlier -as doing deleted tops as well. Meant to be a week's winter climbing with Darren, Alan & Mile F -however poor snow and wind, rain and gloom so lets go running / munro bagging instead over snow topped hills - some great snow fields to run down leaving stud mark trails. Standard anti-clockwise round from Invervar on a sunny afternoon with Gordon.NotReallyABagger13/09/1987
With Fraser Stronach. From Invervar along the road to Carnbanemore, then went up the hillside to the wood above Carnbane Castle. We were soon into mist which was with us all day, apart from one brief moment. We went over Creag Mhor*. There are two tops, which is not apparent from the OS 1st series 1:50,000 map. The east top is the highest. On to Meall Liath, Càrn Mairg, Meall a' Bharr (There is a cairn at the east end, which is not the top). Then Meall Garbh and Meall Luaidhe after a little searching. Next An Sgor and Carn Gorm. Down to the road and Invervar. Not much snow. *In the 1997 edition of Munro's the name of the Munro was changed to Meall na Aighean.pwbellarby13/03/1983
