From parking area at NG372294, took obvious track from there SW following river, blocked by fallen trees, switched to another track outside fence, continued to a ford (NG361284), stayed with track as it swing S, then headed SW (N of the 270m point), passing N of Beinn Cuinneig, and ascending steep grassy slopes obliquely (towards NW), then treaded through high points on summit area (in mist), reaching summit from S, descended N, meeting at ATV track leading towards Loch a' Bhac-glais, then descended NW, reaching another ATV track, which joined the outward route NE of the ford, and reached the road through an old gateway at NG371294 (where parking access leaves public road), thence to start (3h10m) | kdbennett | 02/06/2023 |

From the parking area above the forestry, took the ATV track, then the higher ATV track and up a fence line and past Loch a Bhac Ghlais then onto Preshal Beg - both Tumps. Then a fairly direct line to Beinn Bhreac summit, then trig. Off Beinn Bhreac avoiding the steep Crags to the rhs of the gorge, cut across below Beinn na Cuinneig then up onto the Tump of Beinn Chlachan Gorma. Off NE towards the fence across the fence and up to the ridge of Biod Mor and across to the summit. Back down the ridge to a gate picked up ATV track which follows above the fenceline to the start. 9.8 miles. | JulieB | 26/05/2023 |
Part of a round to bag the new summit of Beinn Bhreac. | BaggerGutt | 26/05/2023 |
From the large parking area above the ex-forestry, followed the ATV track to the shielings along the forestry fence. It continues down to an easy ford (large rocks) then up towards Clachan Gorma. I left the track at a rusty gate, then rising traverse SW above crags and below pt 376 to cross the fence next to Loch Bioda Mor, then up to the summit. Back similar way at first, then down to Clachan Gorma on easy grass. Over fence (no BW next to strainer), then found an ATV track going up pt 270, off piste over shoulder to find old path traversing to bealach, then strange grassy fault traversing Beinn na Cuinneig to stream gorge, up this to cross and climb Beinn Bhreac. Down small grassy valley on W side of summit bump to join ATV track going back to the outward route. Only 3 fences, all easy to cross. | Gill | 06/10/2021 |
From Biod Mor skirt round the hill on the left hand side in between Biod and Bhreac. aimed for brownish slope, one thing to mention on these set of hills, we must have crossed about 13 barbed wired fences, so bring an old mat or something. No gates anywhere. We decided from Bhreac to take a straight line to the north section of Biod in effect skirting round, but found a lot of old chopped down forest ground , which made it difficult to make progress. better to go up and over either of the sides of Biod back to the dodgy bridge. With Martin Scoular. | tallblond | 18/09/2021 |
From pt156 on Glen Eynort road. No sign of shielings (ATV track in field on north side of river helps start). Misty on top, many contenders for high point, used GPS. | willyross | 13/07/2021 |
Preshal Beg and Bheinn Bhreac from Talisker road. | Matt2901 | 14/01/2021 |
Following Biod Mór down via fence then up eastern slopes via dry ground under peat hag line. Visited Trigpoint first then relocated summit cairn. 3/3 good views despite occasional rain squall, back via track from Shiellings. | N.Morters | 12/10/2020 |
From Carbost, down to Talisker then across pathless moor to Biod Mor. Picked up Glen Eynort road at bridge for return. | quadbarrel | 17/07/2020 |
Good parking on the bend at 372295. Followed the track SW to the shielings then headed up the north side of the Gorge - Kearra Burn and directly to the cairn. Went over various other high points. Surprisingly good underfoot. Great views of the Outer Hebrides. Solo. | bolton | 03/10/2019 |
Tried from SH156 but too much water to allowvfir safe river crossing, so started at 381282 and crossed over Biod Mor first. A long undulating approach to Bhreac from there in poor weather. After also finding the trig returned via Eynort. Quite a tough afternoon with very wet terrain. | NormanW | 18/09/2019 |
From Glen Eynort (NG 372295) - of the two ATV tracks on the N side of the river, the lower one, which descends and turns back on itself, soon peters out and delivers one to a mess of felled trees and brashings - cross the PWF (Plain Wire Fence) to its other side, where you will find the upper ATV track, who's downside is the very wet start from the gate on the road. Superb view of the Cuillin range. | Isbjorn | 19/01/2019 |
Round of Beinn Bhreac and Biod Mor from NE starting at road bend. ATV track runs north of fence and avoids tree debris. Then crossed stream several times to avoid the steep banks and passed SE of the gully. Some wet ground near the trigpoint can be avoided by using a faint quad track under the NE summit. | Topographer57 | 23/11/2018 |
2of5: From Glen Eynort road at 372295 via Cairn and Trig Pt. | ChrisR | 29/10/2018 |
From big parking area by minor road. Through gate and along north side of River Eynort keeping above old forest debris following ATV track to shielings. Up past small gorge to summit plateau and the 3 tops with superb views to western isles, small isles and Cuillins. Ground totally sodden. | AndrewFinnimore | 07/11/2017 |

round of beinn bhreac and biod mor ACW from point 156 visited all 3 high points, | robertphillips | 09/10/2016 |
Walked in to Beinn Breac from NE along Eynort river. Nice high start, good track to shielings then clipped grass along river to the small gorge shown on map. Good lines up alongside this then rough grass to summit. Choose from cairn, trig and grassy bump. Continued on to Biod Mhor via col and steep climb. Easy then back to North and track along Eynort to start. | nordicstar | 11/02/2016 |
2/2016Turned out to be a good Route. The head of the valley with the shielings was a nice spot. | jenx | 11/02/2016 |

Leap year day bid in mist from Biod Mor. Direct return to Glen Eynort over Bealach na Croiche. Good yomp. | Martin R | 29/02/2012 |
from Biod Mor. Downhill to cross yet another fence and up skirting 2 higher lumps on the way. Crossed dry river at top of wide bealach. On soft tussock another fence, sheep everywhere, to first of 3 grassy banks to top at 12.15. Vanessa 9747. Highest of 3 possible tops was the cairned point reached first. Eigg, Rum, Canna, 2 Tables, Storr, Dun Caan, Glamaig and Cuillin. 3 x 3 clear pool of water with 5 or 6 orchids etc. growing in the water - beautiful. | arranc | 21/05/2008 |
