Bus to about 1 km away, then very pleasant walk. B&B Landlord reckons it is clear most of the time. Certainly at least 3 hours either side of low tide at Barra. Lovely walk back along beach until opposite Daliburgh.Thearlaichdubh26/04/2022
Parked by road end barns, tarmac road but very rough.PeteF22/04/2022

Walked out to the beach from Daliburgh and did this one on the way to Pollachor - lovely couple of tops. No seaweed issues.nicolajane16/08/2019
Parked at the beach by Garrynamonie (NF738164), walked over the machair, over the sands and to both summits, returned to parking area over the beach. Sun rather obscured by clouds but the sands were still dazzlingly white.pwheeler23/05/2019
Very dry at low water, suggesting there is quite a bit of leeway for access. Unmapped concrete jetty on south side of joining beach. Grassy summit, easy walking.Denise 18/05/2019

Parking by horrific fishing net place gone bust. Lovely when you get to the island.jimbloomer28/09/2014
Easy 10 mins across sands at low tide. Done twice. First time(2012)with my 3 children, 2nd time(2019) solo while my wife just wandered the beach. Both times done as an extra hill after something bigger.pdantic10/08/2012
