Parked due N in track entrance (NS 9212 6158). Good tracks all the way.jonglew08/02/2023
Parked at the forestry fence and then followed the tyre tracks to the bing top.JAdair9730/05/2022
4th of 8 in sunny drought conditions. Parked away from road on track south of hill.lordtonult30/06/2021

Parked at 922615 and took prominent rutted, grassy track Southwards to summit. Made the mistake of walking directly to the road from the top and flooded my wellie in one of the many holes that had been dug into the bog for tree planting.sclater31/01/2020
Tried it from the north. Plenty of parking at the Ben Har forest car park on Harthill-Fauldhouse Road, then good forest track until you reach a forest track. From there, a smaller rutted mud and standing water 4x4/bike trail takes you past a burned-out car (Ford Focus?) and through the overhanging trees to an open grassy summit. Returned via the second summit. Take your wellies!summitter01/06/2019

Parked at playpark in Caledonian Road. Walked through playpark then followed winding tracks going right at first 2 forks then over a flattish area to take the less rutted right hand track of the three visible. From this top choose your own ruts on the right to follow to the summit. Crisp, cold day made ruts solid enough to make walking easy.Jubilado30/11/2017
Tracks from playpark at Caledonian Road, Fauldhouseneimcv29/11/2017
Disappointingly uneventful 1 hour stroll from Fauldhouse station, via pavements and verges to Fala Hill track to S, then follow the good motorcycle tracks bearing mainly right to top of hill which is obviously a very old bing and hasn't a tree within 20m.Thearlaichdubh28/07/2017
Sheer hell to get to this from the road.Play2End11/07/2017
Thursday 29th December, office closed, got off a train with the bike at Fauldhouse at 1111. Then caught the 1201 back home to Edinburgh. Shame it was the wrong hill...Pete R29/12/2016
up from road below hill.robertphillips07/07/2015
Parked rough ground @925609. Tar track west, then splits. Take north blaes track and 2nd right after what looks like a football pitch. This avoids lots of wet reeds higher up. Dry, cool, calm and good views.iangalbraith18/11/2014
Parking to N side of road, SE of hill. Bellmouth has now been bull-dozed over to prevent vehicular access, so easy to miss. Look for FALLA WOOD sign to W of road. This track is tarmac to the old quarry, from where rutted track leead to top of SW summit. And beyond to NE summit. No idea as to which was the highest as couldn't see one from the other!Minto15/11/2014
P 920616. Grassy rutted track to top which is in the more northerly 285m contour.chrisbien23/08/2014
Third and final tump on walk from Caldercruix to Fauldhouse. In along forest track from B717, then SSE on railway track for a short distance and finally uphill on track which begins north of small bings (and becomes muddy as it goes through the trees).campagvelocet07/02/2014
small standing stone; small comms mast to SW. from SE, parking in bellmouth, cross fence RHW08/09/2012
