Climbed up from Corrie met tourist path to summit. Then down the tourist path to the brewery. Lovely sunny afternoon but cloud on summit. Nice pathsnickywood101/05/2023
We caught the first ferry across from Ardrossan and walked from Brodick along Fisherman's walk, then ascended tourist path to summit. Good glimpses of the amazing views as the summit kept going in and out of cloud until we had some cloud inversion going on. A few people at the summit and on the way up but there was much more people going up as we descended the same way. The first SIB for a while. 927m ascent. We left enough time and went back on the 4.45pm ferry after a game of crazy golf on Brodick sea front. Recommended.DanTrig18/04/2023

Round of four corbetts from Glen Rosa campsite - along the glen then up to Beinn Nuis, along the ridge to Beinn Tarsuinn, bypassed A'Chir, skirting around Cir Mhor up to Casteal Abhail, then back along and up to the summit of Cir Mhor. We then headed back down the bealach between A'Chir and Cir Mhor and down the descent path into Glen Rosa, where we contoured around the base of the slabs under Cir Mhor to the Saddle, then up to North Goat Fell and along to Goat Fell before descending the tourist path, and finally back to the campsite to pack our kit. 11h total (avoiding all technical sections where possible in the interests of speed), and we just made the last ferry by the skin of our teeth!mproudfoot16/07/2022

With E. Took first ferry of the day from Ardrossan to Brodick then connecting bus to Gardners Cottage at Arran Brewery. Main path to summit. Very quiet. Clear and dry with summit cloud lifting on our way up. Outstanding 360' views from summit. Return same route and from Brewery took Fishermans Walk path back to the port although a high tide meant much of the path was under the sea!Beeliner29/04/2021

Great hill to climb, attempted to reach summit in early March...lost track of path a few times due to snow and hidden boggy bits beneath. Weather changed rapidly as it got very windy as we neared the top. Approximately 150ft away from the summit and had to turn back as friend was literally blown off her feet. Better to be safe than sorryainzwils07/03/2020

With Anne-Marie. Cloudy at first but the sun came out. Started from the Cladach car park. A group of walkers asked me to take their picture, much to their horror their wee dog pee'd on me as I did so. I took it as a sign of good luck. Enjoyable climb, intrigued by the presence of an anvil near the summit. Up and down in about four and a half hours.Glengavel30/04/2017

5th and last hill of the day on a very tiring but awesome and epic hike from Lochranza to Brodick via Torr Meadhonach, Creag Ghlas Laggan, N Sannox Bridge, Cnocan Donna, up Cioch na h-oige to Mullach Buidhe and then onto North Goatfell. I jumped from boulder to boulder to get to start of Stacath ridge and then used bypass path to to avoid the 1st two Granite buttresses before continuing scramble upto Goatfell's summit. I stayed for about ten minutes before descending with more scrambling down South ridge, before joining a proper path that descends through Brodick country park to the Brewery, over the road and then i followed the Fisherman's path into Brodick.Dazingdale12/05/2016

27th – Solo. From Brodick, follow track along Glenrosa Water, ascend Beinn Nuis, then follow the ridge for a clockwise circuit of the three Corbetts, walked out to Corrie for bus on A841. This is a very fine outing, and the equal of almost any ridge on the mainland – interesting scrambling between Beinn Tarsuinn and Cir Mhor to stay on the crest of the ridge and again in the descent of Cir Mhor. Cool, dry, overcast day, but cloud above summits.RGibbs26/07/2015

From Corrie,on repaired paths via S edge of Coire Lan. Showers so good views from summit then a blizzard. It was so windy we (my brother and I) went back the same way instead of traversing Stacach- a group we met went up that way and some seemed grateful to survive it. I came up that way in 1978, from Glen Sannox, over N. Goat Fell- exciting then,in good conditions.pwheeler31/05/2015

Took the direct route up from Corrieburn Bridge, did a traverse of the ridge to North Goat Fell and return via Coire Lan. The ridge was trickier than anticipated, especially as winds were gusting extremely high and a far bit of snow around made negotiating the rock castles a little difficult. There is supposed to be a path to the east to bypass these castles, but it's not marked on the OS 1:25k and we didn't find it so just went over the top of them. ***7 May 2018 re-ascent: North Sannox to Merkland Bridge linear walk over 3 of the island's Corbetts and some Sims.
