From N. Decent parking against reservoir wall at SH 5814 7160 & S. up lane for about 150m golf course access point - Along left edge of course, bordered by gorse & bramble, to 14th tee & trig point - Down a sheep trod through bramble & dead bracken, over loose bwf & a short climb to summit mound near mast.gerrybowes26/03/2023
With Rufus from university buildings to N. Walked along lane and went through open golf course gate on R just before the main track to the dwellings. Kept left past train tunnel access shaft and trig point. Said hello to the green keeper on the mower who seemed indifferent to my presence.jacobrichmond06/10/2022

2nd tump after this morning's Anglesey completion on Puffin Island. Evening excursion after a full day exploring Nant Gwytherin followed by spoons food at Caernavon. Parked next to footpath then across field finding narrow path (via bw fence) through dense foliage upto the trig and high point beyond adjacent gorse thicket. Headed over to high ground next to transmission tower, getting bogged down in the brambles in the process but got to the bw fence and once over was soon crawling under the gorse to the top then a bit further on near trees. Continued on loop through woodland avoiding properties and back via the smooth tended grass of the golf course to re-visit trig area. The two high points are similar in height. Back via outward route. .Dazingdale25/08/2019
With Rick from the NE. Along track to house as far as the outbuildings. Round to the right and up to top.chrisbien29/06/2019
Another of those little hills that take time to unravel. Found way onto golf course and trig from the RoW but Dugswell's barbed wire defeated me. Instead, circumnavigated the Dwr Cymru compound and found easy route through woodland to grassy knoll above the mast. Did seem to be high point.chriswatson10/07/2018
Bagged by torchlight and GPS while waiting for an Indian takeaway in Menai Bridge. Accessed field through a gate to the south. Wandered around among the gorse near the mast and had an awkward fence climb and a bit of bramble bashing. Not easy in the dark.Herbert Anchovy13/02/2017
Parked to the SW then into field and not RoW to find path through scrub to golf course then trig however high point appears nearer mast on knoll by tree. I spoke to the green keeper who said there was a bit of a path to the side of the water compound however this was overgrown and involved a tricky fence crossing where I lost my glasses. Getting back across was easier but prickly.Dugswell226/01/2017
Footpath from road to south west for 150metres then climb over gate and walk up the golf course. Surprisingly given bank holiday Sunday afternoon not a soul in sight.vegibagger01/05/2016
Got to trig then over to high land towards the mast, equally high...at least.Adrian13/09/2015
Afternoon in Bangor: Penrhos Garnedd and Bangor Mountain from station. A tricky one - no access at all from SW but access to summit golf course at SH 5814 7146. Luckily no-one was playing golf when I went up to the trig point (at hole 14).Mark Jackson27/08/2015
From junction of footpath and road to west. Don't take footpath but go through field west and follow a trod for 50m before finding a path up through bracken to behind the 13th green. Trig point easily found.andrew brown06/12/2014
was going to do a higher Tump but thought id go for this one. On a golf course.Climbed over wall to to get to it but much vegetation, so i gave up went to large mound opposite of similar size with large mast so im logging it anyway! Compensated with trip to higher Tump Cogwrn near Conwy.2nd attempt: short of time! still coudnt find a route!mattcymru11/10/2014
Sneaky evening golf course visit foiled by member looking for his watch. He had never noticed the trigpoint before and asked what it was for.Martin R22/03/2014
