With Rufus from B5106. Simple walk with parking possible almost opposite, initial stile overgrown and not immediately obvious from the road. Nice surprise of the ruined house at the top.jacobrichmond11/08/2023
Ruined house, being rapidly encroached by ivy, on top- would have had great views. HP probably in gorse to SE of house. Abney. Parked on verge by footpath sign then ascended sheep pasture to access HP from NW.Denise 04/03/2023
From the B5106 where there’s good parking on wide grass verge at start of RoW path taking you direct to the summit. High point in gorse SE of ivy clad ruined hilltop house. Abney. Cold, overcast spotting with rain.RichardM04/03/2023
As others, from WNW. Parked mainly on grass verge, about 25m N. of junction - Over ladder stile tucked away in hedge & up RoW to ruin & summit which lies in fairly open gorse. Phone box gone.gerrybowes06/10/2022

Parked by phone box, over the gate and up. Farmer had parked his landrover across the gate on my descent. He was not exactly cheerful but not too bad. Might be better to use the ROW.clivevilla28/03/2018
