Parked in the mouth of the track to the reservoir. Summit feels rather unsatisfactory as it is at the bottom of the reservoir's man-made bank.clivevilla16/02/2024
Parked in the Bonymaen RFC car park. 2 hours before kick off. Trig round back of clubhouse.Campbell Singer05/01/2019
Met one horse and located trig round side of rugby club -not nicest lacation for itMark Sims25/06/2018
Talked to two horses in the field next to the rugby club... Then wandered round the perimeter fence of the Reservoir.vegibagger05/01/2018
Did both 117m spot heights. One by trig pillar on rugby club premises, the other (most probably lower) on school sports field. Neither inspiring.jonglew02/12/2016
There are two 117m spot heights. The trig point is by Bon-y-maen Rugby club, whilst the other is across the road in the school playing field. This is lower but with a covered reservoir which is man made just to the east. Parts of it are accessible and higher. There is a horse pasture on the South side of the reservoir which is higher than the playing field. I suspect that years ago the trig was the highest point but man made landscaping and building make it less clear. All are a short distance from the road. For me the Trig is at the natural HP.PeterD03/08/2016
