2.5 mile walk starting on lanshaw bark and doing a full circular around rasphill woods in lovely countryside. Lots of dairy cows at the summit. With the kiddiesThe-Z-Man28/05/2023
Domed grass. Good parking in small disused quarry near path. Various stone walls - hard to say where HP is.Denise 28/01/2023
2/4. Parked Bolton Bridge up and return then over river and walk up to Beamsley to Path to Crier Hill. Back down to road. Road and paths to reach ridge to Beamsley Beacon and The Old Pike then on across beautiful moor of heather to Round Hill. Back same way.nickywood117/08/2021

A ramble over Beamsley and Blubberhouses Moor visiting Round Hill, Beamsley Beacon and Crier Hill from Ilkley. 22km with 600m ascent in 5 hours. (S)silveracorn_alan21/05/2020
I parked up in a long lay by just south of Bolton Bridge roundabout. Easy walk up to Beamsley then public footpaths to the summit. Pleasant little hill with no access problems. Solo.Dangerous Dave10/11/2019
Parking available in the small quarry to the north from where a small track leads through the grass to a gate alongside the footapth. Cross the gate and join the waymarked path into the summit field turning off to the actual top. 750m return, about 15 minutes.moorsman18/10/2018

Parked to north in passing place just uphill of footpath, but there's a larger space a bit further up and completely off the road. Path overgrown for first few metres but thereafter excellent paths with 1st class stiles. Passes through two gardens but owners have made no attempt to obstruct. Rowan tree still growing on top of post at summit. Delightful short stroll in sun.ijpowell18/06/2016

gentle amble up from the west, with a rowan seedling growing in the top of a fence post on approx the highest natural ground, but it all overtopped by half a metre by mounds of earth and dung to the south.vegibagger27/06/2015
From north, wandered up after dark. Atmospheric with pair of duetting tawny owls and a blue moon, 2nd full moon in one calendar month, too shy to show itself properlyRHW31/05/2015
With Jo, from grassy quarry to N: Crier Hill (nice views, shame about the smell). Weather; sunny, warm, good visibility. Visited Ling Park, Stone Beds and Mount Pleasant trigs afterwards.amblerbob08/04/2015

Addingham to Ilkley. Five minute deviation from the road - least inspiring summit of the day.Smudge18/04/2014
Good parking just to N of hill in tiny grassy quarry. Broad farm track next to trees leads onto open fields. Summit is rounded, grassy not far from wall/gate. Highest point is, agreed, huge pile of dung...Aye Jimmy06/04/2014
Not quite the Matterhorn. Bagged on way to Beamsley Beacon from Bolton Bridge on a 'bus pass' bagging day. Summit marked by large heap of dung -some fresh enough to be still steaming.Martin R30/01/2014
