Solo, C. McNeish's Glen Lochay route for Sgiath Chuill & Meall Glas. From Kenknock carpark. NB - no foot bridge at Lubchurran! An exhausting day, lots of steep climbing on open slopes & a long 5km walk back from Batavaime. Dry, clear day with great views.AndyBlair197212/07/2009

A Slow cold and dreary solo day taking in Sgiath Chuil and Meall Ghlasas well. There was a blizzard on the Summit, but I recall enjoying the excitement of it all. Film camera in those days..Shutterlag01/12/2003

AS JT. From A85 in Glen Dochart to Auchassan, Sgiath Chuil, Meall a'Churain, Beinn Cheathaich, Meall Glas, & return to Auchessan via Allt Glas. A fine winters day with extensive snow cover.Vin28/12/1996
Solo. From the main road near Auchessan. Walked to Auchessan and then up the hillside, climbing several fences including two fairly new, high deer fences. Fresh snow was met at 250m, patchy at first. Ascended to col between point 851m and Sgiath Chùil. New snow on grass or on top of old hard snow was slippery. Went to the summit of Sgiath Chùil, now in mist. Continued to Meall a' Churain. Descended SSW. Put crampons on for a short while because of steepish hard snow. Lower down avoided climbing deer fences by keeping near Allt Riobain something of a path.pwbellarby13/04/1996
