| From the busy Old May Beck free carpark, walked up E on path through wet, shoulder high bracken to Shooting House Rigg, with wild heather moorland. Remains of stone cross near HP. | Known locally as Shooting House Rigg. Fylingdales Moor itself reaches almost 1000ft further south. Easy parking alongside the Maybecks road close to the track up towards the summit. Pass through two gates onto the open access area and follow the track to the summit. Very difficult to identify the actual top.
