Decent verge parking on bend to WNW of Pilgrim Cottages - Road & track to Y-junction, turned left & up track to just short of high point - S. through trees to top of wood; a fair bit of bramble & bracken, but not too bad - Track along edge of field to trig point. Continued to Shipton Hill.gerrybowes28/05/2022

From WNW parking at bend just before Pilgrim Cottage. Track past cottage down to fork, turn left then up the wood when the conifers start and undergrowth is minimal. Exit wood at top, field edge to trig in hedge.Aye Jimmy05/06/2018
From Wilderhope Manor. Very impressive and very old building. Fields exceptionally boggy and wet. Unusual breed of sheep with very piggy faces.Campbell Singer25/01/2018
Trig appears to be at the top of the gorse/ bramble hedgeline, easily accessed from planted field with wide margin from nearby RoW. flattish domed top. Good viewpoint but a little murky now. Easy to park at end of road/ start of track to NW.Denise 23/10/2017
From the end of the minor road to N where there is good parking on grass verge. Nice wide grassy field margin along ridge. Good if hazy views, Clee Hill in cloud. Last of the day together with a wet and muddy Meg.RichardM23/10/2017

2pm after 13.35 on the wooded 283m NE subsidiary, The Ditches Iron age fort, that isn't listed but has old semicircular ridge higher than marked summit and I reckon on survey it's probably a Tumpvegibagger16/04/2014
Visited this hill from YHA Wilderhope - arrived there an hour early so slipped and slide up and down here to bag the trig (Mogg Forest), hill happens to be a TuMP also. Good path NE from the hostel, and up the hill, but return was a mud-fest due to rain and also a new reservoir created at confluence of 2 streams.jonglew16/02/2014
From Wilderhope Manor. Another visit on 16/05/2015 - also to hillfort earthwork with possible higher point at SO 56259 94194.summitsup26/03/2013
