Five Acres to Coleford. Anti-c/w loop from col to N but lost the ROW descent which seemed to disappear into a field of maize before reappearing lower down. Summit is a brash covered jumble of modern stone & earth deposits between pasture & light woodland.Smudge19/01/2020
Followed the ORPA up from Redbrook to the col. I backed out of attempting Old Hills where all the fields had been recently ploughed and took the FP up Astridge to the ruin on the summit.Returned via the serene valley that loops around this hill to Redbrook.Rob Rees29/12/2019
