Logged Descriptions  (logged by 21 users)ByDate of Ascent
From the E, across recently cut and bailed hay meadow to NW corner of field where gate accesses path of sorts up through brambles and trees to levelish summit area. High point at base of group of large Ash trees.RichardM02/07/2019
F/p from lane to E, through gate at far corner of field, gap in hedge into wood about 10m beyond. Flattish summit.Aye Jimmy05/05/2019
Second of a three Tump bagging cycle from Hartpury college. From the W, footpath alongside hedge, straight through the encircling hedge and up to summit.Minto12/04/2019
From W on FP then dived through the hedge and straight up.clivevilla24/05/2018
Followed a badger track from wood edge to pretty much the top. Easier for badgers than peoples.summitter26/08/2017
From fp to the west. Across one field, through hedge (quite easy) and up slope with ground covered with ivy. A lot more straightforward than I had feared.Campbell Singer14/08/2017
From Moreland Road. RoW initially then through sparse hedgerow and straight up hill, no path, not much undergrowth.jonglew18/03/2017
From the east, then skirted round until an access point found (the wire fence is trodden down in a couple of places but difficult to spot). Once through, there's not too much undergrowth to fight but no obvious paths either.milimana10/07/2016
Followed footpath from lane and pushed through gap in hedge and through wood to the top.Ramblingpaul08/07/2016
From the west. The path into the woods wasn't obvious at this time of year and I only found it on the way down. You will need to look for a worn patch in the grass and then push through the undergrowth. I ended up skirting around the foot of the hill and ascended from the east. No path that side but easy enough to get up once through the boundary shrubbery. High point seemed to be in or next to a patch of wild garlic.Herbert Anchovy12/05/2016
From W. Dogs Mercury and even a bluebell in flower, in mid Feb! Flattish summit, large oak approx at HPRHW14/02/2016
From Moor end road to the west. One parking space by FP gate. Along FP and then directly up into woods to top.PeterD07/11/2015
10.15 am what a splendid little pudding shaped wooded hill, just about to burst into springtime, with primroses about to bloom, wild garlic and bluebells preparing their shoots and a few small rhododendrons competing for light with all the deciduous big trees. Would love to come up here again in two months time. Also picked up two huge bulging pockets full of discarded shotgun shells left by fat ignorant bastards who, instead of just enjoying this splendid little hill, not only think it's fun to blast birds out of the sky and undergrowth, but also think it's okay to litter the hill.vegibagger22/02/2015
From east on path to foot of wood. Over BWF and to top in wood through brambles.arranc08/02/2015
