sketchy scramble up the slope, cycled past from carrancarrow hill | FelixClayhill | 29/12/2020 |
As the others. Parked in the quarry entrance to the SE then crossed the road. Follow a good track to where one leads off to the left. The hill is cleary visible and just requires a scramble to get to the top. | moorsman | 17/06/2018 |
From SE up gated quarry track. Then traverse west along spoil heap side ( trees and undergrowth). Then up and across wide track, apparently recently used, and then up to summit plateau. HP is on edge. Raining and fading light | Denise | 10/02/2018 |
From the SE initially up the narrow gated track and then traverse of embankment before ascent to the wide mine service road, across this with care to vegetated spoil of summit cone.Easily up through heather to summit. | RichardM | 10/02/2018 |
Final of 21 St Austell bings over 3 days. From same parking as for Great Longstone. Accessed a muddy pasture at SW 97730 55290. Then roughly E to quarry boundary fencing. Over that, across wide quarry road and steeply up. Sandy top with sparse and stunted heather. | jonglew | 23/02/2017 |
The four (+1 before) +2 after. Summit area has light covering of heather and is clearly disused. A little sparser than Gt Longstone Hill. | RHW | 26/11/2016 |
