I took the wooden gate and top corner of the field option. New building going up next to summit. Pity the summit is not 1km away along the ridge in Plant World Gardens where in 1986 was built and planted the first ever ‘Map-of-the World Gardens’. Visitors (for £3) navigate the winding pathways around the ‘world map’ and thus see which plants grow in which countries. An 80 foot eucalyptus from Australia has shot up in under 40 years. The strong, overpowering curry smell from the Escallonia viscosa tree baffles all visitors, as it is only evident if you stand downwind, and not at all when you touch it! Their hill top cafe makes the proud boast that it must offer one of the most incredible panoramas in the country, with unbeatable views of the Teign estuary and the twin peaks of Haytor rising above Dartmoor.Chris Pearson04/03/2024
Verge parking to SE along road, over barbed metal gate and up track to HP.PeterD04/03/2023

Parked in small layby to SE at SX 904 687. As others, over wooden gate and up edge of field. Visited corner, then crossed (with the aid of a tree) hedge/fence to track about 20m S of corner. Then up track to noted highpoint, and hedge bank which seems higher.PGCE05/06/2022
Easy parking to immediate south at end of lane - IF you have two drivers and one waits in the car - see pictures. As others there are 2 gates. The wooden one can be opened carefully. Straight up the side of the field adjacent to the hedge and fence - no way through. At the top GPS gives 11m away - but the other side of the fence does not appear to be any higher - be very surprised if it was. Metal gate has barbed wire on it.destaylor19/10/2021
Main driveway has a gate with barbed wire wrapped around the top. Summit is on grass by gate at the top of this track. Luckily it was a rainy, misty morning so nobody about as it is clear you are not wanted there.clivevilla18/10/2021
From verge parking on road - into field on left to avoid dangerous section - up to top corner and through hedge and across road to reach lower gate which was shut - into field on left and up to top, bursting through hedge again to reach track and open upper gate, which appears to be the summit.Chris Peart15/10/2021
As Chris Peart. We made a day trip from Frome, a long way to claim an errant new HumpColin Crawford15/10/2021
Straight from main road up main driveway. HP slightly to side at track junction.Poolton12315/09/2021
If you ignore the ersatz OMoM yet another re-completion of the English Humps.Hardly auspicious, though.Martin R04/09/2021
Small pull-in to SE at SX 9041 6877 (room for 1 car) - NW along road for about 300m to drive entrance (last 60m or so narrow with little verge & fast traffic!) - Entrance gate is padlocked, fitted with steel mesh & topped with barbed wire, so went over old wooden gate on left into adjacent field & up alongside hedge to top corner at SX 90162 69013. This is about 12m from the summit gateway which is visible through hedge; looks to be same height. (S)gerrybowes15/06/2021

Roadside verge parking (SX 9031 6882). Walked 180m WSW on road, then N up track to HP.jonglew23/09/2020
From SE, small pull in. HP approx at gateway at top of driveway, level summitRHW16/06/2018
with Great Hill, still higher than HC and nicer summitnordicstar07/01/2017
Down and up from Kerswell Hill. I couldn't find a way to get to the very top, but I got close enough.Alancache17/03/2016
A seemingly equestrian hill. We tried from Bosley stables on NW side, friendly owners gave permission to walk up track which ends in dressage arena just short of the summit with no easy way on. From what I could see high point is close to buildings probably accessed from track from S.RichardM14/03/2016
