From wind farm entrance gate between Craigengillan and Strahanna. Parked tightly up at side of wide entrance area. Walked up road through the Moorbrock estate and skirted Green Hill. Circuit of Moorbrock Hill, Moorbrock Hill N Top, Keogh Hill, Windy Standard, Jedburgh Knees, Trostan Hill and Dugland. A long walk back. Solo.Dangerous Dave03/10/2022
Parked at the entrance to the Moorbrock Estate, hiked to Moorbrock House, then took the track above the treeline and around the west slope of Green Hill. Followed a grassy track up the North slope of Green Hill and onto Moorbrock Hill. Then down to meet the Windy Rig windfarm (just completed, turbines are massive, though sparsely spaced out) tracks over to Keoch Rig. Followed a fenceline up to Windy Standard, then used the tracks of that older windfarm (these turbines are tiny in comparison), to gain Dugland. From I dropped down to Clennoch bothy for some lunch out of the sunshine. Hiked straight back along the track to regain my outward route. Very sunny day with modest gusts, but the flies were out in force, 06:35hrs all in.chillyman818/07/2022
Limited verge parking at start of new road to Moorbrock (NX640953). Moorbrock. If you take the first track after the residences on W side of Poltie Burn (unmapped), you can still get onto the track around Green Hill via some wide firebreaks which snake up towards it, then a short brush through the trees. ATV track to Moorbrock Hill, Alwhat, then new wind farm road over Keoch Rig, Windy Standard, Trostan Hill, Dugland on old wind farm roads, back to Windy Standard, down new wind farm road to Hags of Poljargen, then scree and pathless deep grass to Mid Hill of Glenhead, An Tx and deep grass on to Dodd Hill. Descended W on obnoxious veg to get to new wind farm road ASAP, which led back to the entrance gate to the Moorbrock estate.Isbjorn15/06/2022

From Clennoch, my sixth visit; curiously perhaps, I've always included Dugland in any Donald round because of its historical listing. Good to see it confirmed as over 2000 feetColin Crawford29/05/2021
Drove wind farm road from NX547984, parked by a turbine (NS 6005 0096).jonglew09/05/2021

Dugland, Tristan, Jedburgh Knees, Windy Standard, Keoch Rig, Moorbrock. Beautiful day. Such a shame about the wind farm devastation. With R, B and Brian.jenx27/09/2020
Missed this bugger the first time round. Post-fishing trip bag from Water of Deugh by new bridge. No phone, headtorch or map so had to run to top in last light. Took higher track on ascent but couldn't find it on way back (after some considerable panic) so used lower track. Benighted walk back to car and river, being passed by a worker just before arrival. 12.8km in around 2.5hrs. NDs re-completed almost a year to the day I completed the D & DTs.iangpark09/09/2020
Glen Afton to Windy Standard mainly on wf roads. Then over to Dugland and out to Upper Hill. Long haul round to Craignane (all wf roads) then back over to Glen Afton. 18 miles and 3000 feet in almost perfect conditions.SS15/08/2020

Parked car at sluice on minor road off A713 and walked forest tracks almost to the top. Re-completion of New Donalds.russell6123/08/2019
From Moorbrock Hill. Continued over the north top, down to the bealach, then over SW shoulder of Keoch Rigg. Then picked up the track round the corrie to its highest point. Then ascent over rough grass to the summit. Returned via Clennoch bothy to Moorbrock and Craigengillan. Solo.Man of Kernow128/06/2019
Short detour from a mountain bike ride around Cairnsmore of Carsphain.Grinner08/06/2019
A detour on drive up from home to Glasgow. A wet drizzly afternoon, part ran it from the Moorbrook track, easy going, as I approached summit up steep slope an unexpected wind turbine loomed above me, in cloud not sure what it was until I heard the noise, looked like an alien!dickscroop30/05/2019
Parked just beyond the waterworks, near Afton Reservoir. Followed the track towards the reservoir, then the signed shortcut to meet the windfarm tracks. Followed windfarm and forest tracks towards Jedburgh Knees, then took a good forest break leaving the track at NS62092 02379. The break comes out at NS61917 02044, then followed windfarm tracks past Trostan Hill to Dugland. The forest break was easy walking, if at times steep, on grass/moss. A pleasant break from the wind turbines and pylons.LizH12/05/2019
Parked in wide entrance to forest track at 641953 & up Moorbrock Hill & Keoch Rig. From Keoch Rig, NW down a wide vehicle track which joins stone track at 610003 - Followed track around to opposite side of valley & up to col NE of Dugland - Turbine track & then a tussocky approach to summit cairn. Descended to Clennoch bothy & track back to Craigengillan. Following recent survey, SMC should eventually reinstate Dugland's Donald Top status. (S)gerrybowes27/02/2019
With Alan Dawson, David Batty and Norman Wares. Important survey. One OS map shows 608m one shows a 610 M contour ring.vegibagger20/11/2018

Two day walk from New Cumnock to Carsphairn with an overnight at ClennochColin Crawford14/04/2018
From Afton CP via William's Castle, then Black Hill, Wedder Hill, Millaneoch Hill, Windy Standard, Jedburgh Knees, Trostan Hill, Dugland, across the Clennoch Burn to Keoch Rig and return. Afton is now surrounded by the sprawling and expanding ugliness of Brocklog Rig wind farm. To add insult to injury, construction workers were putting up a radio mast on the summit of Keoch Rig as I arrivedNick Down124/03/2018

On checking an old copy of Munros tables (1984 rev) noticed I had climbed this hill after all. Originally used my 1997 edition to log hills on here, in it Dugland had been deleted from the Donald tops.Dave McG05/05/1987
