Repeat visit on a lovely 8km coastal circuit from Mylor Bridge around the coast to Flushing with L and Misti the dog - leaping in the sea at every chance. Had a near vertical 10 foot bank to climb to get off shore onto coast path -pulled up on a tree -pushed the dog up. Near he summit is a food barn selling local produce -very popular at a weekend.Chris Pearson06/01/2024
Parked at the road junction and a short walk up the lane.Moorponder07/09/2023
Parking for quite a few car on Tregew road to south. Short walk to gate and around field boundary to top.PeterD06/08/2023
Left L at recorder group meet at Falmouth Uni building 1k w of Penryn and walked from there through the town and along the lovely 2 miles along the shore path in glorious low winter sunshine and blue sky to Flushing. Boats galore for this is Falmouth -sailing capital of the SW. Most moored and sheeted up for the winter. Best bit was Sailors Creek a decaying mess of derelict and rotting boats -very photogenic. Sign asking for volunteers to help dismantle, recycle the old boats and improve the site. 3 blokes were gamely doing their bit dragging away bags full of rubbish - a herculean task. Up the road to the summit then nasty road jog (no fpaths) 1.5 miles back to Penryn. Feeling shattered still from doing the park run this am at Trelissick and having run hard the 1.5 mi to get there as late! Recorder group finishing with Abba as I got back. Then to Lidl for a shop.Chris Pearson21/01/2023

Roadside parking east of Flushing at SW 81312 33709. Short road walk to coast path. Left coast path at SW 82308 34050 for steep diagonal climb north to gate at crosswall. Through/over gate to second gate at SW 82382 34373. 2nd gate gives access to summit field. Kept to edge of field then final few metres along tractor track to summit. No positive feature and summit area quite flat.David Gradwell04/05/2019
