Easy bag. We parked just down the road so we got a bit of ascent and followed the parallel path to the stony trig. Afterwards we drove around to and bagged Great Rowbarrow re-bagged Dunkery Beacon in the process.DanTrig22/03/2024

Almost a drive over, 2 mins from the road. Nice, windswept Exmoor hill despite its easiness. Drive from Warwick to Ilfracombe today so seeking out some easy tumps on the way. Reviving coffee at Exford before visit.pwheeler04/06/2022
Quick stop in the layby whilst passing. Visited trig, tumulus and alternative highpoint.PGCE09/12/2021
Barely 100 metres from the road so a very easy bag! Paused at Winsford Hill to walk the dogs with Carol on a hot sunny day. Great all-round views. Stopped here again later in the day and ate a belated lunch.Skip22/07/2021
From car park SE of high point, nice short amble. The barrow certainly wins over the trig for highest point. Visited the other two barrows too. Great 360 views. Third of trio of quick tump bags as weather unreliable. With Tiarnán.Pete West09/10/2020
Parked on side of road to south west. Jumped out of car, ran to the summit in about 20 seconds (and bagged trig point), then ran back to car before heading for a fab lunch at Woods in Dulverton. One of the easiest hills you could bag without making a walk of it.RichieRambler28/08/2019

Short hop from roadside parking on B3223. Trig pillar sits beside a Bronze Age bowl barrow. The barrow is higher and has been part of the landscape for 3,000+ years - it's the HP of the hill.jonglew04/04/2016
Shame the wind is so strong today it's difficult to stand up.Alancache09/03/2016
