Looked for destroyed trig pillar. Near bungalow. 19/12/2021. Walked upto reservoir for good measure. | cjo | 24/12/2019 |
Parked to N at sign to 'Blue Barn'. Seemed highest at field edge across road from bungalow. Weakness in hedge near house may be where trig once resided? | Aye Jimmy | 14/07/2019 |
Wandered over field in the pitch dark. GPS provided sufficient light. | Campbell Singer | 10/12/2018 |
Walked down Lane, verge opposite side of lane to bungalow seemed to be HP, or just in field. Man made reservoir to east higher, which also visited. | PeterD | 07/05/2018 |
Short walk from farm road junction to bungalow. | rhalstead | 02/07/2017 |
Parked in the lane leading to the farm, wandered about in the field N of the farm track. A helpful farmer told us the trig had been located nearer to the farm buildings, the spot now occupied by a disused electrical switch box. ST 94050 68665 | DanMaisieBex | 16/02/2017 |

1/3 Quick walk up from road to bend in private road beside house | Fergalh | 23/06/2015 |
I visited the bungalow and the compound but wasn't totally convinced by either prospective summit. | Chris Peart | 26/04/2015 |
Visited the bit of road outside the bungalow and then the reservoir which is higher, although I'd agree its base is lower than the road. | Herbert Anchovy | 22/12/2014 |
Top seems to be on driveway (a public RoW) just at the bend by bungalow. Limited parking where drive meets minor road to north. Flat top and trees mean limited views, but impressive tithe barn along road to NW. Also hopped over gate to reservoir in field to east, but this is definitely lower. | Hillsidenick | 19/01/2014 |
Visited to bag the trig pillar that OS records as destroyed Nov 1982. Parked roadside on minor road and walked up PROW access road to farm and private bungalow. Top not obvious, OS 1:25k indicates both trig site and comms mast in field at 180m. Visited both. | jonglew | 07/04/2012 |
Evening visit after course at Dauntsey's School. | Chris Pearson | 15/04/2010 |
