| Parked at triangle and went direct to fort through field and neglected golf course W of house, trying to keep a little below sight from the house. Fort then accessible, with view where it appeared one tee was maintained for putting practice. Very pleasant in Telegraph Wood, by rampart, so descended to Sandpit cottage drive at 380185 and walked back up the quiet, narrow road to triangle. | HP on embankment on south side of ancient fortifications by large oak. Is the lower land inside the fort more natural? Lovely clear sunny day on the cusp of Autumn. Also visited Beacon site by Upper Toothill Farm- the latter overlooking both. | Denise | 25/09/2020 |
| The green at road junction and fire basket in garden of Upper Toothill farm seem much the same height. Telegraph wood visited via field on W side of hill - past group of fine Redwoods. Embankment in Telegraph Wood may be higher but man made, hard to comment on whether or not the levelish ground with in the hill fort ring mound is higher or lower than ground around the farmhouse. | RichardM | 25/09/2020 |

| 14.05 upper Toothill farm is on the summit and a big reservoir few hundred metres to the south grass over and certainly the new highest ground and I always feel psychologically should probably be the new summit even if they are man made. I wanted to go up their banks and wandered down the road to the south to the entrance, but high gates topped with three rows of barbed wire deterred me. | vegibagger | 11/09/2015 |

| Visited on a round of trigs in Hants. Roadside location, parking un-friendly locals! Beacon fire-basket on tall pole at hill summit. ***Re-visited 9 Jul 2020 after summit re-location. Parked to NE (SU 3859 1917). Managed woodland occupies the whole of the hill fort with dense bracken in places. Wandered around, and across the 84m spot height.
