Logged Descriptions  (logged by 4 users)ByDate of Ascent
Approafrom SW on row. Went directly up W side, brutal vegetation but top is easy heather. Headed N and came across a track, it winds down and round several times and comes out on the tow to the W. Note it is very overgrown often with prickly things. Parked at end of public road to the SW.Adrian14/07/2022
From NE, RoW into quarry turns L passing hill, when almost due E look for path at SW 95479 55993 almost opposite a fence, leading up thru fairly open scrub to higher path at SW 95449 56018. Turn L and follow to summit. 2 competing boulders: easternmost a foot higher. Returned to lower path, followed path across rly to the Goonamarris pair, NB short slightly awkward scramble back up from rly if returning this way.RHW14/05/2017
Drove into quarry area on a closed road. Parked at SW95065567. Took a line roughly ENE. Over a railway track, along a quarry road for a short distance, then tacked roughly NW steeply up through dense vegetation, with much veering and zig-zagging. This was first of a few unpleasant ascents. Large boulder in mature heather at top, and overlooking working quarry.jonglew21/02/2017
