After south summit. Went up the SW bank, heavily vegetated. Summit has heather and open though narrow.. Dropped to the N which seemed a little easier. | Adrian | 14/07/2022 |
From NNE, after Rostowrack, path across rly then fought up and down NW spur, plenty rhododendron,:some gorse. Neat summit ridge crowned with willow. | RHW | 14/05/2017 |
Access from dry lake bed to North west ( and quarry track to west). Big thrash through pathless and thick vegetation- gorse, bramble, rhododendrum and willow. Our route could best be described as fun, but hope others find something better. Wear old clothes, go before spring growth too energetic and don't expect to be quick!Top is a willow bush, surrounded by vegetation. | Denise | 19/03/2017 |
Nothing else for it but to get in there and fight your way up through the prolific vegetation. We chose the W side. Not a hill for your best gortex jacket. | RichardM | 19/03/2017 |
Parked at an old gated access track (SW95625529). Leads into an area between the 2 Goonamarris hills. This was a perisher, attacked it from the SE and took a line directly up through very dense bramble, gorse and rhododendron. Another unpleasant ascent after Rostowrack; maybe there's a better way. Nice views once up there though. | jonglew | 21/02/2017 |
