Logged Descriptions  (logged by 13 users)ByDate of Ascent
After Brewers, crossed the wire fence from the permissive path due N of this summit as the high padlocked gate was under the noses of a drilling gang from Cornish Lithium. Minor jungle bashing through a belt of bracken, bramble, gorse and rhododendrons up N flank led to steep heather mountaineering to the crumbling sand cornice. What an amazing lunar landscape all around. These conical sky tips, as they are called, were made after the coarse sand was extracted from the clay slurry and piled up by conveyor to form these conical heaps. There are at least 5 around this deep hole. Descent down the good path - water eroded groove. Cornish Lithium have hopes for big plans here so maybe changes to the landscape are afoot although Cornwall Council recommend both this iconic sky tip and BPT are retained for their heritage value. Re-crossed wire fence through gap down by road to WChris Pearson09/02/2023
Slightly slippy ascent to summit with small iron pole. Great shape of a hill.Adrian12/07/2022
Took path west off the brewers trail and eventually took a left that went most of the way up the hill, not a very steep ascent and quite safe as they go, very exposed so had to keep low to avoid unwanted attention. Love pyramids and their prominent viewsFelixClayhill29/11/2020
From W; after Brewers, took path up NE spur, fiddly at start. Summit of bare compacted sand almost sandstone, some grass. Descended E on good path which doubles back R and clockwise round base of hill passing disused workings.RHW14/05/2017
Another fun ascent up northern rib of pyramidal peak ( vegetated spoil heap) with great views to azure blue lake and Brewers Hill. Top obvious. Accessed from permissive path between two.Denise 19/03/2017
By E ridge, easiest gained from the S side. Great views of the turquoise lake in disused quarry to E.RichardM19/03/2017
Parked to east on road then easy ascent of Brewers Pyramid with Iain Brown then on to bag Trelavour Pyramid after negotiating fence and gully then return via tourist route to locked gate.Dugswell211/03/2017
After Brewers Hill. Over wire fence at SW95825745 then directly SSE on faint track to top of hill. Steeper ascent than Brewers and very slippery. Dense vegetation on lower slopes, much less higher up.jonglew21/02/2017
Several ascent routes but getting to them is tricky - Colin's route works well. There are terrific views across the nearby pit to a waterfall behind.Chris Peart16/01/2017
Permissive path from SW959575 then slightly rough approach from corner on path. We found an obvious path up on the south side, circling round south to a locked gate on the permissive path, at approx. SW957573Colin Crawford16/01/2017
