Enjoyed a pleasant walk from Liverpool street station for 2 'hills' - Swanfield street and Bethnal Green. neither were that exciting but Columbia road flower market, Shoreditch and Hackney were enjoyable.Buck13/11/2022
With Jo, walk from Old Street Station. Weather; overcast at first, then rain, mild. Good visibility. No fencing around the mound. Also visited the bandstand on the Arnold Circus which was built on some of the rubble from when they cleared the slums in the 1890's. Given the amount of demolition work being carried out in the area another bandstand could well be on the cards!amblerbob04/05/2022
Also came via bandstand as many others seem to have done. Whilst on run from homelerritt16/09/2020

From Old Street station, pretty straight line through side streets. Set in a classic LA housing development.Moorponder12/02/2019
Walked from Cambridge Heath station via Bethnal Green (5595).Ramblingpaul19/10/2018
After a coffee in Spittalfields to get out of the rain a bit we headed to the bandstand on the Arnold Circus and then navigated our way to what is billed as the highest point. A slightly raised grassy area behind a fence was reached and deemed the top. The rain was still coming down so we called it a day 6 Borough tops!ChinnockC06/10/2018
Very different. Old East End. Not the glamour of some other parts of London.Campbell Singer01/07/2018
Good wander round this and the nearby streets - agree with others that there are points that appear higherjedthehumanoid07/06/2018
Visited corner of Swanfield Street and Rhoda Street, as per OSGR. Obvious high point in pocket park. Walked via bandstand at Arnold Circus, which appears quite a bit higher based on visual judgement.mrs_ts714/05/2018
Found myself staying nearby. Quick stroll to small park in Swanfield Street and then on to Banstand which was higher.PeterD24/01/2018
On run from hotel in Holborn while in London on training course.stever05/12/2017
A walk along Brick Lane from Aldgate East. Visited Swanfield Street and the Bandstand(a delightful anachronism) I am happy to go with listing. There is no natural top here or at most of the London Tops anyway.Sixtyplus15/10/2017
Down in London for Pension meeting tomorrow. From Beckton Alps by DLR then decent walk from Docklands museum. Almost dark on arrival at grass knoll that is currently deemed to be the highest point in Tower Hamlets. It is definitely higher than nearby streets, but is almost certainly a man made feature. Have now re-completed the LB tops, which I had previous completed back in 2013. Given the distance from home, I'll be bloody annoyed if this top gets moved again!Hillsidenick11/10/2017

I reckon that the Arnold Street bandstand is higher ... what part of London is not man-made ground?summitter01/08/2017
From Bethnal Green tube to Bethnal Green then Swanfield Street then Whitechapel and back to St Paul's Cathedral where I was working.clivevilla24/07/2017
Agree with Nomad Perkins. HP is on the small communal park bounded by Swanfield St and Rhoda St. Bandstand bounded by Arnold Circus looks and feels man-made. LB tops recompleted.jonglew24/06/2017
Highest point is the bandstand in the small circular park.Swindon Bagger21/06/2017
A quick detour on a sunny evening, bound for City airport. From Liverpool Street tube to the grassy top of the park in Swanfield Street and back, miraculously unscathed by rush hour cyclists.Nick Down115/06/2017
Third attempt to reach this particular borough top. Short walk from Shoreditch High Street past some of the classic local graffiti. There was even a tour group visiting some of it!Mark Jackson27/05/2017
Small park appears highest natural ground in area, walked around nearby bandstand just in case, but it appears man-made. Coordinates I got were: TQ 33782 82495Nomad Perkins12/05/2017
Walking through London is always fascinating. So much happening and to see. Like a scene from Andrew Marr's Mega Cities just walking from Liverpool Street via arty Spitalfields market. Then DLR to Investigate Beckton Alps.Chris Pearson27/04/2017

Attempted beating trimarc2 to claim new London hill first - assume summit small park on Swanfield St although bandstand is higher?Fionalevey31/03/2017
Beaten to be first to log this hill by my daughter and then only by 10 minstrimarc231/03/2017
Visited 03/11/2017, date used to sync previous completion. This is not the high point, under new summit and col rules the Angus street bandtand should be high point, the Swanfield Street location also man made.nordicstar15/10/2013
