From w, parking for a few cars, staircase down into cove, having noticed this seems to be a P30. Climbed the steep SE buttress, decent rock but not 100% reliable - extreme care needed. Exposed grass above, narrow in 2 places, studded fellshoes provide secure footing on rock and steep grass. 19/1/23. Not for me -thank you very much. This looked to my eye like a ridiculously risky scramble on steep grass above a big drop. No doubt easy-ish but horribly unpredictable and uncertain with the terrifying knowledge on the ascent that you have to come back down the same way. It's a very public spot and the chances are you may have to also contend with getting shouted at to come down by a well wisher, have the coastguard called by the anxious, or be filmed with delight by someone hoping to catch your mounting anxiety and possible slither and (fatal?)plummet for a youtube epic fails. A rope would not be any use as there looks like there are no runner placements. Wonder what RHW's heartrate readout looked like?Chris Pearsonblank
